It's a spectacular day to go out for a run. Too bad I have to work. I am still the slave they expect me to be. However, everything will come in due time.
I thought I would be worse since I only trained two days last week. Instead, I felt fine during the few 5km that I ran in strict progression. I kept my heart rate under control within the aerobic range, and my legs responded well.
Then, I worked my arms and torso, doing planks and push-ups, to finish with deep stretches of the largest muscles in the legs: the glutes, quadriceps, and hamstrings.
