Hi Everyone,
Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year, and we have spent it in Osaka this time. Normally, CNY falls around February, but this time, it is at the end of January, which is much earlier than usual. We haven't had many plans. We started the day out with my favourite chocolate milk and then went shopping.
The kids really wanted to have Baget which is a western style restaurant with unlimited bread buffet. In previous blogs, I have mentioned that BB E and myself have a slight gluten intolerent but found out that the bread and cakes in Japan doesn't upset our stomachs so we have been crazy with the bakery stuff here. The buffet is just the perfect way to get our cravings sorted. All bread is baked in house and new breads gets made all the time. Every time a new batch is made, they will ring the bell to advise customers new bread is available and what flavour/type it is.
It was a great way to spend the new year in another country since school doesn't start back home. We are really enjoying our stay this time. We hope you all have a prosperous year!
