Hi Everyone,
We had a weekend away recently with friends and one of the stops was The Entrance North Beach. This beach is located away from the crowd from the main strip of The Entrance and the best part is there is plenty of parking away from the rest of the locals and tourists.
Located 90 minutes drive from Sydney, The Entrance is a popular spot for Sydneysiders to get away from home and enjoy a simple relaxing weekend. We used to go here to watch the Pelican Feeding, but we didn’t do it this time as we knew it would be too hard to take 6 kids (3 families went together) to one place.
The beach is patrolled and is actually next to Surf Life Saving building. As you continue walking along the beach, you will see a pool also great for those who want to swim laps in a safer environment but also have the option to be close to a beach.
The sand here was very fine and we ended up having lunch at the beach after getting some pies and fish and chips back in the town. The only fault I find this beach has is a few rocks and the lifesavers decided to put the flags right where the rocks were which was a bit hard for the kids when they were trying to catch some waves and play in the sand. Beautiful beach to visit when you are in the area, the best part is there are so few people even on a Sunday!
