Hello friends, good weekend. We are in the month of love and just yesterday February 14 was celebrated almost everywhere in the world this beautiful date as it is the day of love and friendship. I say almost everywhere in the world, because coincidentally where I live it is not like that. This was something that surprised me a lot in Brazil, and it is not that they do not celebrate this date, but the day chosen for it is June 12.
My family and I, being Cubans, could not let this date pass us by, so we decided to go out for a walk around the city. So we ended up at the ice cream parlor where there are several options to choose from and enjoy. While everyone was enjoying their ice cream, my husband and I opted for a delicious ice cream shake, strawberry is always my choice 😋.
I loved how all of us couples were going combined. My brother and sister-in-law were in black; my cousin and his girlfriend in classic red very appropriate to the occasion and my husband and I in white. Even though we were the only ones that night celebrating this date, it was a very nice night and we enjoyed it very much.

Hola amigos, buen fin de semana. Estamos en el mes del amor y justamente ayer 14 de febrero se celebró en casi todo el mundo esta fecha tan bonita como lo es el día del amor y la amistad. Digo en casi todo el mundo, pues casualmente donse vivo no es así. Esto fue algo que me sorprendió bastante de Brasil, y no es que no celebren esta fecha, sino que el día escogido para ello es el 12 de junio.
Mi familia y yo, siendo cubanos no pudimos dejar pasar esta fecha por alto, por lo que decidimos salir a dar una vuelta por la ciudad. Fue así que terminamos en la heladería donde hay varias opciones para escoger y disfrutar. Mientras todos disfrutaban de sus helados, mi esposo y yo optamos por un delicioso batido de helado, el de fresa siempre es mi elección 😋.
Me encantó como todas las parejas íbamos combinadas. Mi hermano y mi cuñada iban de negro; mi primo y su novia con el clásico color rojo muy acorde a la ocasión y mi esposo y yo de blanco. A pesar de que éramos los únicos esa noche celebrando esta fecha, fue una noche muy bonita y que disfrutamos mucho.
