¡Hola viajeros! Estoy muy feliz de volver por aquí para compartir más de mis aventuras viajeras. Esta vez, ¡preparaos para alucinar con lo que os voy a contar! 😄 Ya que, les quiero contar que visité la hermosa, excéntrica y, en mi opinión, la estrafalaria Basílica de la Sagrada Familia en Barcelona, España. Antes de empezar la historia del recorrido, les quiero decir que no escuché a ningún español usar la palabra "alucino", es más, hasta creo que solo la usan en las pelis y los influencers.
Ahora sí, a lo que vinimos; la imponente Basílica de la Sagrada Familia se puede observar incluso desde varias calles antes de llegar a su entrada principal. Esta gran obra de Gaudí no es solo una de las tantas de este afamado arquitecto ubicadas en la ciudad, sino que es nada más y nada menos que su más grandiosa y conocida obra arquitectónica en Barcelona. Cuando te encuentras de frente con esta majestuosidad, no puedes parar de encontrar detalles. De repente, deja de ser esa gran figura y empiezas a observar cada pequeño toque que hace de esta basílica una edificación tan peculiar. Me atrevo a contarles que incluso sentí que es una obra recargada, pues cuenta con figuras que no solo narran la historia de la crucifixión de Cristo como al ver una historieta, sino que también tiene otros símbolos y estatuas que a la vista son muy extrañas, como leones, grandes tazones con frutas y hasta plantas. Les dejo unas fotillos para que lo apreciéis vosotros mismos (¡me encanta soltarme a escribir en españolito, tío!).
Como en todas sus obras, Gaudí se divirtió al usar divertidas y asimétricas cerámicas de colores en la fachada de la Basílica; y algo que no me esperaba es que cuenta con una cripta donde fue enterrado el mismísimo Gaudí, y a donde tuvimos el inmenso placer de entrar y presenciar cómo este arquitecto creó su propia tumba prácticamente antes de morir, pues fue la única parte de la Basílica que logró ver construida antes de su muerte, el resto de la Basílica quedó en planos e incluso otros arquitectos han tenido que intervenir en el diseño de otras partes de esta obra maestra agregando su toque a las mismas. ¿Te gustaría ir a visitar esta gran obra del maestro Gaudí?

Hello travelers! I'm very happy to be back here to share more of my travel adventures. This time, get ready to be amazed by what I'm going to tell you! 😄 Because, I want to tell you that I visited the beautiful, eccentric, and in my opinion; the quirky Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Before I start the story of the tour, I want to say that I didn't hear any Spanish person using the word 'alucino', in fact, I think they only use it in movies and by influencers.
Now, let's get to it; the imposing Basilica of the Sagrada Familia can be seen even from several streets before reaching its main entrance. This great work of Gaudí is not just one of the many of this famous architect located in the city, but it is nothing more and nothing less than his most grandiose and well-known architectural work in Barcelona. When you come face to face with this majesty, you can't stop finding details. Suddenly, it stops being just that great figure and you start to observe every little touch that makes this basilica such a peculiar building. I dare to tell you that I even felt that it is an overloaded work, because it has figures that not only narrate the story of the crucifixion of Christ as if you were reading a comic book, but also has other symbols and statues that are very strange to the eye, like lions, large bowls with fruits, and even plants. I leave you some photos so you can appreciate it yourselves (I love to let go and write in a little Spanish, dude!).
As in all his works, Gaudí had fun using fun and asymmetrical colored ceramics on the facade of the Basilica; and something I didn't expect is that it has a crypt where the very Gaudí was buried, and where we had the immense pleasure of entering and witnessing how this architect created his own tomb practically before dying, as it was the only part of the Basilica that he managed to see built before his death, the rest of the Basilica remained in plans and even other architects have had to intervene in the design of other parts of this masterpiece adding their touch to them.Would you like to go visit this great work of master Gaudí?

Un lugar impresionante con tanta historia y arte, Gaudi fue un arquitecto que a pasado a la historia con esta gran obra, sueño con algún día estar ahí y disfrutar de impresionante estructura.
