RE: Karma chameleon 🦎

Feeding him has also been a game of patience as he was not very trusting of me at first.

Gaining the trust of an animal takes takes time, but it is well worth. You can reach even a mutual, unconditional love with animals, if you really love them. They know love better than most humans. I write this from personal experience. Nowadays I live with a Harris's hawk, and I had dogs and cats in the past, so I completely understand your love towards animals. By the way, my Harris's hawk is from a breeder, so it is not a wild bird, but I still had to gain her trust in the beginning. I do not have experience with chameleons, but you can train a Harris's hawk in one or two months to fly to your arm, if you call him/her.

If he keeps doing so well ill be happy to go release him back into the forest to grow big and have lots of offspring 🙏
Love and care for all creatures great and small.

I respect your views and the actual love and care you show for this chameleon. Hopefully he will be completely healed, and the cats will not kill him, so you will be really able to release him back into the forest.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Oh my gosh having a hawk must be really awesome!
I agree if you show love you will gain their trust. I also have no experience with chameleons so Google has been very helpful. I struggle with the fly catching and keeping track of this very well camouflaged creature 🤣
I rescue many cats to rehome mostly, find it alot easier but my heart is open to all animals in need of assistance. ♥️

Some good news. The lil one was released far away from the cats this morning. He was still a tripod but I believe I gave him the best chance to survive 😊
