Sunset at the highest point of the island, facing Sulu Sea. The grassy hills of Mararison complement well with the sea in the background. It's one of the views I'll never get tired of witnessing.
Riding on a small boat from Culasi to Mararison Island. I looked so haggard because I still hadn't recovered from the climb. Maria (@mariasalve), James, and Junji (@junjinju) were enjoying the ride because they were able to summit Mt. Madja-as.
Celebratory photo even if I wasn't able to summit the most coveted Mt. Madja-as.
Enjoying the view of the other side of the island, the one facing Panay mountain ranges.
Taking a dip in the sea near Kawit Sandbar. This was on our second day on the island.
Of course, I should have a solo shot.
Let's just pretend I was having a blast even when I had a fever and my breathing felt like it was just halfway through my lungs.
Avisala!
I already posted some photos from Mararison Island, but I realized I haven't shared a single photo with me in it. Now, wanted to share these photos, which I fondly called "Memories of Mararison". Thanks to @junjinju for some of the photos!
Mararison is one of my favorite islands in the Philippines. It's not too touristy, unlike Boracay Island. The laidback vibe of the island and even the lack of signal added to its appeal for me. There are a few accommodations on the island, but don't expect a five-star experience. It's just a rudimentary place to sleep.
Enjoy!

Ahaha Great adventure! I loved the sincerity!
Cheers
It was one of the moments of my life that I felt I was literally dying. And yet the photos somehow masked that. HAHAHA
Happy holidays!
Primitive, untouched and pristine places are really attractive. It's interesting that you were so enthusiastic that you jumped into the water with your clothes on! This is life, you just have to enjoy it and I am really grateful for sharing that place and moments. Maybe one day we went together! I'm interested.....👍
I guess it's a Filipino thing to wear clothes while swimming. Didn't feel like removing my clothes that time.
The top of that hill is a pretty cool spot overlooking the sea, would have never guessed it is in the Philippines. It could be anywhere beautiful with ocean and grassy hills )
They're actually common here in the Philippines. In any island, there's always a grassy hill facing the sea.
Yay! 🤗

Mararison looks great in the pictures, especially the colors. I'd never heard of the island before, only Boracay. Less touristy sounds really good though. Nice memories (even if you were partly sick) :)
Best regards :)
The island is just hours away from Boracay. The famous island where most of the tourists go. There are a lot of other islands that are still waiting to be explored and advertised, but less touristy is also good. If only the tourism facilities here in the Philippines is at par with those in Thailand, I'm many tourists will visit.
Just saw this today. Haha dili rajud ilhan nga nag agaw-buhay gikan imong awra shots baaaa 👏🤩
HAHAHA! Awra gihapon bisan naglisud ginhawa.
