Apenas vi el tema de esta semana que evoca "Las Alas del Amor", me imaginé rápidamente algo de poesía y, aun cuando no se trate de ello, creo que la vida es una poesía llena de versos, estrofas y rimas en la que solo somos el recurso poético. Gracias a #EmpowerTalent especialmente a la amiga @angelica7 por traer esta idea tan hermosa y sublime para esta ocasión, donde permite sacar las palabras más profundas del corazón.
Greetings hivers readers, back to this space of sharing wonderful ideas and experiences. As soon as I saw this week's theme evoking “The Wings of Love”, I quickly imagined some poetry and even if it's not about it, I believe that life is a poetry full of verses, stanzas and rhymes in which we are just the poetic resource. Thanks to #EmpowerTalent especially to friend @angelica7 for bringing this beautiful and sublime idea for this occasion, where it allows to bring out the deepest words of the heart.
Las alas del amor se refieren al vuelo que alzamos como seres humanos hacia nuevas experiencias y es precisamente la capacidad de amar la que nos eleva por encima de cualquier cosa. Es el motor, el impulso, la inspiración o fuerza que nos transforma para obtener algo. Pero, más allá de ello, es lo que somos como personas, demostrando sentimientos a través de nuestros actos, tanto hacia nosotros mismos como hacia otros.
The wings of love refer to the flight we take as human beings towards new experiences and it is precisely the capacity to love that elevates us above anything else. It is the engine, the impulse, the inspiration or force that transforms us to obtain something. But beyond that, it is who we are as people, demonstrating feelings through our actions, both towards ourselves and towards others.
Las alas del amor van creciendo a medida que vamos cultivando emociones, valores y acciones en esa evolución del crecimiento interno y que a su vez nos permite conectar de manera profunda con nosotros mismos para luego llegar hasta el corazón de otros. Todo comienza cuando somos capaces de practicar el amor propio y reconocer el valor que tenemos, para luego escuchar a otros y entender sus sentimientos.
The wings of love grow as we cultivate emotions, values and actions in this evolution of inner growth, which in turn allows us to connect deeply with ourselves and then reach the hearts of others. It all begins when we are able to practice self-love and recognize the value we have, and then listen to others and understand their feelings.
Un punto clave en este tema es cultivar las alas del amor desde un proceso lleno de sensibilidad, intención y mucho amor. Cuando trabajamos primero en nosotros mismos, somos agradecidos, empáticos y pacientes; en ese momento podemos fácilmente alzar el vuelo hacia cualquier dirección y atender el llamado de nuestros seres queridos, nuestras amistades, del amor y de todo lo que requiera una ayuda sincera y bondadosa.
A key point in this topic is to cultivate the wings of love from a process full of sensitivity, intention and lots of love. When we work on ourselves first, we are grateful, empathic and patient; at that moment we can easily take flight in any direction and answer the call of our loved ones, our friends, of love and of everything that requires sincere and kind help.
Un ejercicio que vengo practicando desde hace algún tiempo y que me ayuda mucho a verme desde afuera con mis defectos y virtudes, encontrando siempre una solución a mis debilidades para convertirlas en fortalezas es detenerme frente al espejo para observar lo interior y exterior de la persona que está allí, que posee y que necesita. Justo ahora veo a una mujer de grandes alas doradas con profundo deseo de ayudar a otros y aliviar sus corazones en un mundo tan inhumano.
An exercise that I have been practicing for some time and that helps me a lot to see myself from the outside with my defects and virtues, always finding a solution to my weaknesses to turn them into strengths is to stop in front of the mirror to observe the interior and exterior of the person who is there, what she possesses and what she needs. El espejo refleja alas llenas de empatía genuina, bondad incansable y un corazón que late por las causas nobles. Son unas alas repletas de fuerza y luz; fuerzas para volar muy alto y luz para iluminar. Alas que siempre han estado presentes, pero en algún momento fueron frágiles, con el pasar del tiempo se convirtieron en lo que ahora son: fortaleza y amor.
The mirror reflects wings full of genuine empathy, tireless kindness and a heart that beats for noble causes. They are wings full of strength and light; strength to fly high and light to illuminate. Wings that have always been present, but at some point were fragile, with the passage of time they became what they are now: strength and love.
El amor no requiere de lo material y no hablo del amor en pareja, es el amor en toda la extensión de la palabra. Son las alas del amor la prueba más grande que el amor puede llegar muy lejos, con hermosas palabras, apoyo incondicional, con intenciones realmente puras que regalen alegría. Puede que en ocasiones el corazón herido sea el mío, pero si hay alguien más triste y afligido que yo, mis alas alzan el vuelo, olvidando mis angustias y entendiendo el dolor ajeno, logro regalar un poco de alivio, porque entender al otro ya es un acto de sanación para mí.
Love does not require material things and I am not talking about love as a couple, it is love in all the extension of the word. The wings of love are the greatest proof that love can go very far, with beautiful words, unconditional support, with truly pure intentions that bring joy. Maybe sometimes the wounded heart is mine, but if there is someone more sad and afflicted than me, my wings take flight, forgetting my anguish and understanding the pain of others, I manage to give a little relief, because understanding the other is already an act of healing for me.
Me quedo con esta frase: "es lo que somos como personas, demostrando sentimientos a través de nuestros actos, tanto hacia nosotros mismos como hacia otros..."
Creo que si no somos capaces de amar al prójimo y tenderles la mano no se puede decir que en realidad nuestras alas son de amor.

Muy bonito tu escrito.me e canto tus fotos de flores. Pienso que si no somos capaces de amarnos nosotros mismos como podemos dar amor al prójimo. Ese ejercicio que haces en analizarse desde afuera con tus errores, es el del espejo y que más bello cuando lo haces para dar escritos tan llenos de amor como este.
