Esta es mi participación vez en este encuentro de @talentos invita a escribir sobre "¿Qué significado tiene el éxito?", con un tema que tiene mucha tela que contar, si escribí contar, porque cada quien corta esa tela en su mejor manera de contar lo que piensa de sobre "¿Qué significado tiene el éxito?".
Como siempre es un gusto poder participar en estos encuentros de talento, nuestra querida angélica en sus temas que nos hace abrir un abanico de posibilidades cuando pensamos en un tema y de una la vena de contar nuestras experiencias se abren para todos ustedes, bienvenidos a mi publicación para encuentro de todos los talentos que estamos haciendo vida en esta comunidad
El Éxito: Una Perspectiva Personal
Cada quien tiene su propia manera de apreciar o concebir su propio éxito, y es válido porque, como dicen por allí, cada quien se mide a sí mismo según sus circunstancias. Ahora bien, lo que escribiré a continuación es probable que algunos hayan pasado por eso.
Mi perspectiva personal de cómo yo mido mi éxito es muy simple y muy básica. Parto del simple hecho de poder poner un plato de comida en la mesa donde cohabitamos cuatro personas que dependen en un 50 por ciento de lo que yo hago, sea lo que sea, pero totalmente honrado en lo que hago. Si eso que hago me ayuda a tener un plato de comida en mi mesa, ya para mí es un éxito.
Solo aquel que ha pasado hambre en algún momento de su vida me podrá entender. A lo mejor, y estoy totalmente seguro de que tú, que me lees, me entiendes si has pasado hambre. Pero para ti, medir tu éxito es de otra forma. Existen varias formas de medir el éxito y también puede tener varios significados. Como he dicho en otras publicaciones, yo soy muy básico: si me funciona y me hace feliz, ¿para qué más? Por cierto, puedes tener mucho dinero y no niego que me gusta el dinero porque a mí sí me hace feliz tener dinero. Sin embargo, no representa para mí tener éxito.
Otra forma en la que yo puedo medir el éxito es en la paz mental que uno logra. Para mí, la tranquilidad de saber que mis dos princesas tienen lo necesario para ser felices en este apartamento que es su hogar y que pueden crecer y desarrollarse, que tienen un techo sobre sus cabezas y una cama donde dormir, eso también es éxito. La seguridad de que, a pesar de los sube y baja que me entregan las circunstancias de mi vida, he podido mantener a mi familia unida y en armonía como un equipo de cuatro, es algo que valoro profundamente.
Yo me he dado cuenta de que muchas personas miden el éxito en medio de la banalidad. Hace muchos, pero muchos años, logré conocer a alguien muy influyente y con mucho dinero. Todo el mundo en Venezuela decía que él era exitoso porque tenía mucho dinero, pero ¿cómo era posible que con tanto dinero no tuviese un buen carro? Y él me dijo: "Tener un buen carro no me hace exitoso." Es razonable; muchas veces lo material y pomposo no te hace exitoso.
En este camino, he aprendido que el éxito no siempre es visible para los demás. A veces, los demás están pendientes de lo visible, pero para mí se trata de pequeñas victorias diarias que pasan desapercibidas para el resto del mundo. Esas pequeñas cosas, como un momento de risas en familia o el simple hecho de tener un día sin preocupaciones mayores, son éxitos que yo atesoro, muchísimo más que ser visible.
Así que, si bien es cierto que tener dinero puede facilitar la vida y me hace feliz, el verdadero éxito para mí radica en las cosas simples y esenciales. La felicidad de ver a mis hijas, a mi esposa y a mi familia bien, la satisfacción de hacer las cosas con honestidad y el orgullo de saber que, a pesar de todo, sigo de pie. Eso es el éxito desde mi perspectiva y siempre poniendo un plato de comida en la mesa.

Success: A Personal Perspective
Everyone has their own way of appreciating or conceiving their own success, and it's valid because, as they say, everyone measures themselves according to their circumstances. Now, what I will write next is something that some may have experienced.
My personal perspective on how I measure my success is very simple and very basic. I start from the simple fact of being able to put a plate of food on the table where four of us live together, who depend 50 percent on what I do, whatever it may be, but totally honorable in what I do. If what I do helps me have a plate of food on my table, then for me, that is success.
Only those who have experienced hunger at some point in their life will understand me. Perhaps, and I am totally sure that you, who are reading this, understand me if you have been hungry. But for you, measuring your success might be different. There are various ways to measure success and it can also have multiple meanings. As I have said in other publications, I am very basic: if it works for me and makes me happy, what else do I need? By the way, you can have a lot of money, and I do not deny that I like money because it makes me happy to have it. However, having money does not represent success for me.
Another way I can measure success is in the mental peace one achieves. For me, the tranquility of knowing that my two princesses have what they need to be happy in this apartment that is their home, where they can grow and develop, that they have a roof over their heads and a bed to sleep in, that is also success. The certainty that, despite the ups and downs that life’s circumstances deliver, I have been able to keep my family united and in harmony as a team of four, is something I deeply value.
I have realized that many people measure success through banality. Many, many years ago, I met someone very influential and wealthy. Everyone in Venezuela said he was successful because he had a lot of money, but how was it possible that with so much money he didn't have a good car? And he told me: "Having a good car does not make me successful." It is reasonable; often, material and pompous things do not make you successful.
On this path, I have learned that success is not always visible to others. Sometimes, others focus on the visible, but for me, it is about the small daily victories that go unnoticed by the rest of the world. Those small things, like a moment of laughter with family or simply having a day without major worries, are successes that I treasure much more than being visible.
So, while it is true that having money can make life easier and it makes me happy, true success for me lies in simple and essential things. The happiness of seeing my daughters, my wife, and my family well, the satisfaction of doing things honestly, and the pride of knowing that, despite everything, I am still standing. That is success from my perspective, and always putting a plate of food on the table.

El éxito es muy sugestivo. Como escritor veo que muchos otros escritores basan su éxito en reconocimiento social, publicaciones invitaciones, libros salidos a la luz. Muchos tenemos eso o algunas de esas aristas mientras otros l9s verdaderos monters de la literatura permanecen en sus casa, en el silencio escribiendo y escribiendo lo que será una obra magistral.
Una mesa bien puesta y con familia alrededor es éxito sin duda alguna, como así lo indicas es un buen medidor y con la satisfacción del logro. Es maravilloso poder leerte y compartir estas experiencias de vida y talento. Un abrazo.
