Hello everyone, it’s another beautiful day to praise and worship God through the @Soundmusic community. I’m delighted to share my very first post in the community, and I will be starting with the cover of a song I love to sing very much whenever I think of God’s love for me. It’s quite an old song by Elijah Oyelade, who happens to be a Pastor, a Teacher and a Songwriter from Nigeria.
This song was one of my favourites about 7 years ago when the track came out. But I still find myself singing the song till date. And that is mostly when I begin to reflect on God’s love for me, my family and friends. It’s a great and a very meaningful song I must confess. It’s a slow paste but a good and a sound music that exalt and honor the name of the lord. I also find myself singing the song when praising and worshiping God in my closet.
I’m also inspired by the lifestyle of the songwriter, Elijah Oyelade. It's not actually easy to be a preacher, and a songwriter. And that shows his zeal and passion for the work of God. It demonstrates how he loves to do the work of the kingdom which I feel is something we need to emulate as people who love God and have passion to see that the Gospel is preached to the world.
Also I would love to talk about the sound of the melody. Starting with the lead vocal, I must say that Elijah is a gifted man of God. He possesses the gift of singing honestly. The way he ministers will clearly tell that he understands music principles and patterns. He knows when to break and relax and also knows when to use the backups and instrumentals. As a result of that the music is not noisy and the whole sound nice to the hearing.
The backups also did well in carrying out their responsibility in backing up the song. And I must say that they are also good at what they do. The way they attack or respond when needed shows how good they are at what they do. They also understand their various parts well and also keep to it as expected. I must say they sing in unity to deliver their services well.
Coming to the aspect of the instrumentals, the instrumentalist did a great job in delivering their services I must confess. They are good at what they do, no doubt. Their level of cooperation is just so good. Everyone of them understood what to do and also did it when expected. They kept it cool and smooth without making it lousy or noisy. So in conclusion I must recommend the efforts of all the participants from the lead vocal down to the backups and instrumentals in the video. They did wonderfully and I really enjoyed the song. That's why I’m doing this cover and I hope you’ll enjoy the cover song like I’d enjoy the original.
