A coffee, my father and curiosities of the Beatles

First of all I would like to send a big hello to this community. Today I was talking to my dad sitting in the dining room of my house having a good coffee, I struck up a conversation a little different from the usual since he is a person who loves and idolizes the beatles band that was created in the mid-60s in Liverpool, England made up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Since he was fixing a briefcase where he has souvenirs of the tickets that managed to go to several countries as well as acetate discs.

He told me things that few people have known or have not realized about this majestic band, so much so that I decided to bring these anecdotes to this community and thus make this post.

The beatles marked a before and after in the history of music, at first this band was going to be called JOHNNY AND THE MOONDOGS but fortunately they kept the name of the beatles, how curious isn't it? which is the combination of words in English that means BEETLE (Beetle) plus the word BEAT that means rhythm.

Did you know that it took the Beatles only 10 hours to record their first album called PLEASE PLEASE ME, in the 60s Beatles music was banned in the Soviet Union and in Cuba. The Beatles were rejected by the main record companies in England since they supposedly said that electric guitars would go out of style, if there was someone who would go back in time to tell them that electric guitars are the perfect complement to be able to form great songs.

In 1967 after their so much fame the beatles were going to buy an island in Greece for them to live, but they gave up and left that as a utopian dream. In New York, 10,000 copies were sold daily when they became the most listened to in the United States. Did you know that the famous song YESTERDAY was composed by McCartney, based on a cookie recipe that his grandmother used to sing to him when he was little.

Returning to Cuba, this band was censored in 1964 but after two years FIDEL CASTRO himself removed that resolution since he was delighted with this band.

The famous BEATLE haircut was the idea of a German photographer named ASTRID KIRSCHER, a friend of the members of the band, how impressive were her parents one of those people who used that cut? Well, I tell you that my father was.

Much of their songs were bought by MICHAEL JACKSON, the beatles were the first to make music videos at the time and to do concerts in STADIUMS.

Undoubtedly the Beatles are one of those bands that when you listen to them leave your heart full of peace and love thanks to their melodies and rhythms since this band is part of the history of Rock And Roll, I hope you liked this contribution and you can know a little more about this wonderful band I will leave you a video extracted from YouTube for your enjoyment I will put my favorite. Tell me which are your favorites and those of your parents.
