Hello community, once again I join this weekly initiative of sharing in this space songs of worship and praise to God with a specific theme. In this week 26 the proposed topic is "Values".

This theme was suggested by @stefy.music. In reality, the theme should have been selected by our friend @wallay, but unfortunately, this time, for some reason, he did not participate and could not comment on his participation.

I was doing a little research on the web about values and I really liked some material I found that refers to the three main Christian values:

I chose to participate with a song that focuses mainly on the Christian value of freedom:

When I carry the cross of others, I will be saved

If you carefully analyze the lyrics of this song, you will notice that although it talks a lot about the value of freedom - which is even in the title - it also indirectly refers to the value of solidarity - brotherhood that already in the first verse expresses the words "when I carry the cross of others"; in the second: "When I know how to forgive from the heart" and in the third "when I live in communion with others."
And we can also read - between the lines - its message about dignity when the first stanza states "When I fight for peace and truth." And this "fight" for peace and truth takes us to that moment in which we defend the helpless, the vulnerable and raise our voices - which does not mean that we shout but rather that we speak out for a just cause - to achieve that their dignity is recognized, as our Lord did when with a few simple and brief words of denunciation "He who is free from guilt, let him cast the first stone" prevented the woman from suffering the terrible death of being stoned, that is, dying by consequence of the stones thrown by a crowd.
Christ saved her by preserving her physical life and forgave her sins by giving her spiritual life. Because what the Lord gives us transcends the human, the physical, the temporal and is projected towards the eternal.

That is why the Holy Scriptures do not simply mention freedom but talks to us of a deeper freedom: "for the creation itself will also be freed from the slavery of corruption, into the glorious freedom of the children of God.". This quote in Romans 8:21 is wonderful. In it we can see how all creation will be liberated when the glorious freedom of the children of God is manifested. That freedom to do good that today we experience "a little" already in the form of an advance until our full freedom manifests itself. And it is this freedom that we experience today - which is not yet glorious, which is not yet perfect - that freedom to do good, which allows us to go against the current in this world that we see sinking more and more into the anti-values of sin but having our hope placed in Him who promised us "In the world you will have tribulation; but take heart, I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Hola, comunidad, nuevamente me sumo a esta iniciativa semanal de compartir en este espacio cantos de adoración y alabanza a Dios con una temática específica. En esta semana 26 el tema propuesto es "Los Valores".

Esta temática fue sugerida por @stefy.music. En realidad la temática debió haber sido seleccionada por el amigo @wallay, pero lamentablemente, esta vez, por alguna circunstancia, no participo y no pudo comentar su participación.

Estuve investigando un poco en la web acerca de los valores y me gustó mucho un material que encontré en el que se hace referencia a los tres principales valores cristianos:

Dignidad porque somos hijos de Dios.

Libertad para hacer el bien.

Escogí participar con una canción que se enfoca principalmente en el valor cristiano de la libertad:

Cuando luche por la paz y la verdad,
la encontraré;
cuando cargue con la cruz de los demás, me salvaré

Cuando sepa perdonar de corazón, tendré perdón;
cuando siga los caminos del amor, veré al Señor.
Dame, Señor, tu palabra;
oye, Señor, mi oración.

3.Cuando siembre la alegría y la amistad,
vendrá el Amor;
cuando viva en comunión con los demás,
seré de Dios.
Dame, Señor, tu palabra;
oye, Señor, mi oración.

Si analizan con cuidado la letra de esta canción, notarán que aunque habla mucho del valor de la libertad - que lleva hasta en el título - hace referencia indirecta también al valor solidaridad - fraternidad que ya en la primera estrofa expresan las palabras "cuando cargue con la cruz de los demás" ; en la segunda : "Cuando sepa perdonar de corazón" y en la tercera "cuando viva en comunión con los demás".
Y también podemos leer - entre líneas - su mensaje acerca de la dignidad cuando la primera estrofa enuncia "Cuando luche por la paz y la verdad". Y es que esta "lucha" por la paz y la verdad, nos lleva a ese momento en que defendemos al desvalido, al vulnerable y alzamos la voz - que bo quiere decir que gritemos sino que nos pronunciemos en haras de una causa justa - para lograr que su dignidad sea reconocida, como hizo nuestro Señor cuando con unas simples y breves palabras de denuncia "El que esté libre de culpas que tire la primera piedra" evitó que la mujer sufriera la muerte terrible de ser lapidada, es decir, morir a consecuencia de las pedradas de una multitud.
Cristo la salvó conservando su vida física y perdonó sus pecados dándole vida espiritual. Porque lo que nos da el Señor trasciende lo humano, lo físico, lo temporal y se proyecta hacia lo eterno.

Por ello las Sagradas Escrituras no mencionan simplemente la libertad sino que nos hablan de una libertad mas profunda: "porque también la creación misma será libertada de la esclavitud de corrupción, a la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios.". Esta cita en Romanos 8:21 es maravillosa. En ella podemos ver cómo toda la creación será liberada cuando se manifieste la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios. Esa libertad para hacer el bien que hoy experimentamos "un poquito" ya en forma de anticipo hasta que se manifieste nuestra libertad plena. Y es esta libertad que experimentamos hoy - que aún no es gloriosa, que aún no es perfecta - esa libertad de hacer el bien, la que nos permite ir a contracorriente en este mundo que vemos hundirse cada vez más en los antivalores del pecado pero teniendo nuestra esperanza puesta en Quien nos prometió "En el mundo tendréis aflicción; pero confiad, yo he vencido al mundo." Juan 16:33
