Growing together.

There’s something special about not only improving yourself but helping others improve along with you. And that feeling is even better when it relates to something as powerful and transformative as blockchain. For more than a few years now, I have had the opportunity to facilitate all types of blockchain and Web3 events all around Ghana. Each event was a unique step down the pathway to opportunity, inspiration, and change for young people.

Even though these youth events were just events, they were ways to channel the energies of young Ghanaians toward a greater cause. In this age of technology, where so much time is spent scrolling, we provided them with an opportunity and platform for them to innovate, design, and share their ideas and lived experiences—the Hive blockchain.

Through workshops, webinars, training, and mentorship, we encouraged young people to change their minds about the internet being a place for scrolling and develop the idea of it being a place for building. Many of the event's participants did not even know what Web3 or decentralisation meant and are being nurtured to become content creators, content curators, entrepreneurs, and developers by using their creativity and skills to generate, communicate, and build productive values and lives on Hive.

The change has been phenomenal. They are not just writing stories, sharing creative works of art, leading community projects, or developing their own; they are no longer content consumers. They are content contributors and content creators. And that is what Hive gives you the power to do. Own your voice, own your work, and own your growth in a completely decentralised way.

What excites me the most is how enthusiastic young people are about this project with some encouragement. It turned out that once a suitable platform was provided, all that they needed to demonstrate was their passion and creativity. This is what makes Hive unique. Seeing young innovators grow, collaborate, and mentor others is one of the most rewarding experiences of our journey.

I will continue to advocate, educate, and strategise, because I believe in the vision of a future where youth in Ghana and elsewhere are not just online but purposefully online. Hive is not just a blockchain; it is a dream platform, and I am delighted to contribute towards assisting others dreams.

Hello @mcsamm keep up the good work. You are not just changing lives but you are also blessing lives and we honestly don’t see this everyday.

I’m rooting for you friend🥳🥳🥳

Thanks so much darling

It's good what you are trying to do but you must address the downvoting on Hive because so many people are leaving Hive due to bad downvoting and many people will not join because of bad downvoting

I believe it has been considered.

Being considered means nothing something must be done I'm being downvoted by a racist person many other black bothers and sister's are also being downvoted something needs to be done

Nice work 👌🏽

Thank you
