910 1DECADE RACE

Hii Hive Runners, how are you all ? Is it already the rainy season over there? It's still hot here and rarely rains. I hope you guys are well and happy.

Last week, after not running for a few weeks due to my injury recovery. I finally got back to running in the 910 1DECADE race, an event I signed up for 2 months ago before my foot injury. At first I wanted to give up the event because I was afraid my leg would hurt even more. Although it's getting better. I was even more afraid that I wouldn't be able to run well because I might have to start all over again, I was afraid my breathing wouldn't be strong or my stomach would hurt.

Even so, I went anyway. D-1 Race day. I went to pick up the racepack collection. I went alone on Friday, the morning before I worked in the afternoon. It was the first day, so it wasn't too crowded.

Since this event was held by a local shoe brand, after picking up my racepack I was able to have a look at their shoes. Ah, I can't buy these shoes, I thought. The color is so cute. But I already have shoes that I recently bought too. Haha

The contents of the Racepack are quite a lot, and I'm glad I got it.

On the day of the Race, I went alone, my friends had already left from their respective places. I thought I had the wrong date or maybe the venue moved, because along the way I didn't find any runners with the same race jersey. What if the venue wasn't where I picked up my racepack I thought, I must be sad. Fortunately, as I approached the venue, I found a group of runners wearing the same jersey. Fyuhh luckily.

And, I was almost late, the distance between the parking lot and the start line was quite far because I had to detour. When I arrived, it was already flag off. And I was the last runner to run, even though there were many people in front of me.

My first pace was 7:41, I was surprised to see this analysis, with an avg pace of 9:22 and a moving time of 48:10. I was able to finish my first race while in recovery. I'm grateful that my breathing was fine during this run, just like when I used to run a lot before. My legs were also fine and I enjoyed this race very much.

After reaching the finish, I got a medal with the logo of the shoe brand. And took pictures with my friends. Ah, don't forget to enjoy the concert of an indie band.

We enjoyed the day even though the sun was getting hotter.
