Greetings,
Dear friends this week I was honored to be a supporting member of the @hiverun running team at the caf marathon 2025.
It is an experience that as amateur runners we must experience to feel the adrenaline of the race and thus get the motivation to be better and to be able to draw the goal of being participants at some point.
I arrived at Los Caobos park before 7 am and I managed to place myself right at kilometer 21 about 100 meters from the finish line, I did not want to move from there because I knew that at any moment could pass @vandres leaving his cellaje hehehehe and so it was about 20 minutes in position I saw in the curve the logo of @hiverun approaching so I did my best to capture the moment on video and some photos as he passed, I also gave him a few shouts of encouragement but he was very focused on the goal that I'm sure he did not even see me 🤭🤭.
As the minutes progressed I continued to see runners arriving I was very surprised by the speed taken by athletes with disabilities in their special chairs, the animation at the finish line of 21k was very good I really congratulate the announcer did not rest a second until the last ones passed the finish line.
After 8am I saw again the hiverun logo approaching and it was my friend @mcookies with an impressive race pace, she looked very relaxed and confident.
I really enjoyed seeing familiar faces from my city running and making good times, I didn't tell them about hiverun because I thought they had their clubs but I saw them running independent this year we have to recruit them hehe. I also enjoyed the arrival of Yocelin Brea the national champion another public figure that has my respects is Jose Manuel Dossantos who did a half marathon with prosthesis in both legs no doubt he is an example of overcoming and showing the world that disability is in the mind.
The arrival at @enmymente to finish the half marathon was really the most emotional to see her overcoming year after year and see her sisters accompanying her to run the closing of the race was very nice indeed, that support is the most valuable thing in the world.
After this we joined at the point of Hive to wait for the arrival of @danielvehe and @erilej, at this time was to share between hivers know each other, congratulate the runners, hand out flyers to publicize @hiverun for my part I delivered to pure runners many of them showed some interest I hope they get in touch and so the community grows.
After 4 hours and a half @danielvehe was approaching the finish line so @vandres and @artjose went to join him in the last kilometer giving that encouragement for the finish.
Just when I was going to return to the awning I was surprised @erilej arriving so I activated the camera as fast as I could and managed to capture his passing for a few moments.
After this we had to pick up and get closer to the finish line and where the awards were so that the guys did not continue moving, at this point we enjoyed their arrival and took advantage of the fountain of the park to take group photos and share anecdotes of their racing sections.
An unforgettable experience and now is when there is still content to share, without a doubt it was a wonderful and motivating day, I hope it will be repeated.

Queridos amigos está semana tuve en honor de ser miembro de apoyo al equipo de corredores de @hiverun en el maratón caf del 2025.
Es una experiencia que como corredores amateurs debemos experimentar sentir la adrenalina de la carrera y así conseguir la motivación para ser mejores y poder trazar la meta de ser participantes en algún momento.
Llegué al parque los caobos antes de las 7 de la mañana y logré ubicarme justo en el kilómetro 21 más o menos a 100 mts de la meta, no quise moverme de ahí porque sabía que en cualquier momento podía pasar @vandres dejando su celaje jejeje y así fue al rededor de unos 20 minutos en posición ví en la curva el logo de @hiverun acercandose así que hice mi mejor esfuerzo en capturar el momento en video y algunas fotos mientras pasaba, también le dí unos gritos de aliento pero estaba muy concentrado en la meta que estoy seguro que ni me vio 🤭🤭.
Mientras avanzaban los minutos seguí viendo llegar corredores me sorprendió mucho la velocidad que toman los atletas con discapacidad en sus sillas especiales, la animación en la meta de 21k fue muy buena de verdad que felicito a la locutora no descanso un segundo hasta el los últimos pasaron la meta.
Pasando las 8am veo nuevamente le logo de hiverun acercarse y era la amiga @mcookies con un paso de carrera impresionante se veía muy relajada y segura de si.
Me gustó mucho ver caras conocidas de mi ciudad corriendo y haciendo buenos tiempos, no les hable de hiverun porque pensé que tenían sus clubes pero los ví corriendo independientes este año hay que reclutarlos jeje. También disfrute de la llegada de Yocelin Brea la campeona nacional otra figura pública que tiene mis respetos es José Manuel Dossantos quien hizo media maratón con prótesis en ambas piernas sin duda que es un ejemplo de superación y de mostrar al mundo que la discapacidad está en la mente.
La llegada en @enmymente para finalizar la media maratón fue de verdad la más emotiva ver su superación año tras año y ver sus hermanas acompañándola a correr el cierre de la carrera fue muy bonito de verdad, ese apoyo es lo más valioso del mundo.
Luego de esto nos unimos en el punto de Hive para esperar la llegada de @danielvehe y @erilej, en este momento fue de compartir entre hivers conocernos, felicitar a los corredores, repartir volantes para dar a conocer @hiverun por mi parte entregué a puros corredores muchos de ellos mostraron algo de interés espero que se pongan en contacto y así la comunidad crezca.
Pasando las 4 horas y media ya se acercaba a la meta @danielvehe así que @vandres y @artjose fueron a acompañarlo en el último kilómetro dando ese aliento para el remate.
Justo cuando iba a retornar al toldo me sorprendió @erilej llegando así que active la cámara loas rápido que pude y logré capturar su paso por unos instantes.
Luego de esto tocó recoger y acercarnos hasta la meta y donde estaban las premiaciones para que los muchachos no siguieran en movimiento, en este punto disfrutamos su llegada y aprovechamos la fuente del parque los caobos para tomar fotos grupales y compartir las anécdotas de sus tramos de carreras.
Una experiencia inolvidable y ahora es cuando queda contenido por compartir sin duda fue un día maravilloso y motivador espero que se repita.

Valore mucho ese apoyo, ese ánimo de cada uno que nos llenan de energía para seguir dignos hasta la meta, parece mentira pero al subir esa última subida quería pararme, pero los gritos con mi nombre no me lo permitieron... Que sena muchas ediciones más lo que podamos compartir...
Eres una campeona de verdad , también espero que sean muchos más y que cada vez sean más miembros participando

Me conmovió tu post, las fotos están brutales, mis respetos a los atletas con discapacidad, a ellos les admiro mas, ver el otro lado de como suceden los hechos está genial.
Hermano, que bueno verte a ti también participando en la carrera. Yo estaba cerca ese día, pero en otras cosas. Igual me alegra que la hayas pasado bien y que seas de ese grupo que representa a Hive. Un gran abrazo para ti man!...
