As usual, I divided this weekly session into two runs which I did on 14 November 2024 and 15 November 2024. on two consecutive days I deliberately ran because of the bright weather. This week the weather is really getting unstable and I have to be good at making my running schedule. Thankfully I can still be consistent with two workouts.
14 November 2024 for 10km
Today I was determined to run for over an hour because my carb loading was so good, my stomach didn't feel heavy during the run. I started off at a fairly consistent pace from start to finish, with the only splits coming at 6:17 and even then very briefly, the rest of the run stabilised to a steady pace. I ran a total time of 1:15:14 with a total distance of 10:06km at an average pace of 7:29/km. total calories burned was 536 and heart rate average 166.
15 November 2024 for 5km
The next day, I deliberately wanted to relax a bit with a standard pace, 5km. My legs were still feeling heavy from the previous day's run, but after warming up properly I ran at around pace 8. I did that on purpose because I really enjoy at pace 8. but then the pace dropped to 7 and rose again to pace 8 at kilometre 4. I finished my run at 39:40 with a total distance of 5:05 km and an average pace of 7:51/km. Not bad for this week, right?
I felt good to get into a running routine. Since it's rainy season, we need a stronger immune system. Apart from diet too. Okay, thanks everyone, see you next weekly recap.
