How to make a family self-sufficient is the topic of my post today.
The price of essential commodities in the market has been increasing since long ago. It is not possible to control it in any way. Our market has become such a bad situation where if the price of a product increases, it does not decrease. . This two to four five rupees reduction per unit. It has no effect on the elite families. But it is the middle and lower middle class who suffer the most.
Their daily expenses increase more than their daily income. That is why they have to suffer. However, last Thursday we went to the local market to buy chicken to eat. I realized that the price of chicken has skyrocketed. The price of chickens which were 200 or 250 taka a few days ago are now 600 or 700 taka. I said this only about chicken, the price of every necessary thing in the market has increased to a large extent.
Anyway, let's get back to the topic…. There are steps a family needs to take to be self-sufficient. Which I will discuss in this post of mine. Having said before, these are purely my personal opinion. As humans we live by eating food. We collect these foods from different sources. But think about it, if we grow our own food, how would it be? Food is the most essential of daily necessities. And the production method of food is very simple. Which we can do if we want.
Some poultry, goats and sheep should be reared to meet the family's meat needs. To meet the demand of vegetables, vegetables should be produced in the yard or on the roof of the house. By doing this, I think it will be possible to meet the family's food needs.
Now come to the treatment. Anyone in the family can get sick at any time. A family first aid box should be kept to deal with any common ailments. Where there will be all common medicines. And wherever there is space to plant plants in the back or front of the house, medicinal plants should be planted more prominently. Medicines should be collected and consumed from there for various diseases. But it must be on the doctor's advice.
Everyone in a family should be active. All members of the family should be consulted on how to increase the family income.
Every member of the family should be very interested in getting education. A small library should be built for the people of the family. There will be many kinds of books. A member who is lagging behind in education should be pulled up by another member.
By maintaining the above steps I think it will be possible to raise a family self-sufficiently. Let every family be self-sufficient, I am ending here today.
