'It's just water," Ini said as we watched how the waves interrupted a photo session for the girls who stood some metres from where we stood. Even though we stayed at a reasonable distance by the shore, the waves seemed to want to welcome us as much as they could by drawing even closer.
It was a cool February afternoon in the City of Sochi and we paid a visit to see the popular black sea. I was captivated by the rocks that laid by the seashore and I planned to take some before we left.
As I stood by the shore, one thing came to mind; the story of Moses parting the red sea. My mind never did justice in picturing how vast a sea could look like. I tried to imagine how spectacular that day must have been for the Israelites as they watched the Red sea part at the command of Moses with his outstretched rod. It must have been amazing! I stared and stared again at the view just in front of me and I wanted to just remain here for maybe two hours longer, meditating on the miracle of the red sea parting, as I literally stood in front of a sea.
