A market with an old texture in Qazvin

This is a traditional and old market in Qazvin

We were passing by that city at the beginning of our trip, and since this city is very historical, we could not miss seeing it, and we left the car in the parking lot and entered the market.

When we entered the market, because it was not the right time, most of the shops were closed, but we were busy with its main building and its corridors and streets, so we continued to explore.

I like old and historical buildings because it makes me feel good, I think most people have the same feeling

This market was very big and had different rooms, each of which had become a shop, and in some parts they were useless.

After visiting this market, we continued our journey and it became a good memory for us.

Brick facade and tiled arches

Brick facades are nostalgic. In the old days, most of the houses were built in the same way, but nowadays all kinds of wooden and stone facades and artificial materials have entered the market.

I like natural material more

In this bazaar, all the buildings were made of brick and their arches were made of marble and had beautiful designs

We walked there for an hour and remembered the old movies where these scenes were mostly shown

In the last photos, you can see that the path is full of stairs to the bottom, and there it is called the cellar, which means the place where cold and fresh water was kept.

Because there were no refrigerators in the olden days, they used this type of architecture to store water, and the architecture there was in a way that it was underground, and cool water was always available to them, even in the summer season.

Of course, this place is small and there are some cellars that are big in size

Some of them were also connected to the aqueducts. The aqueducts are connected to each other with clean and pure water.
