hello GEMS community
Hope you all are well. I am also good. Now what I want to write about is Woodpeckers. I am photographer and That's why I'm writing about this relationship in detail. Hope you all enjoy...
Let's get started,,,
The woodpeckers belong to the Picidae family. Woodpeckers are found in almost all parts of the world except Australia, New Zealand, and two poles. Most woodland species live in forests or wooded areas. The woodpeckers look a lot like a bird. It's nice to see everyone. It survives by eating insects in the tree. Woodpeckers live in countries like Bangladesh, India, China, Japan, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Their lips are very sharp so they can easily drill into the tree. They live in the corner of a tree.
In the spring, two eggs can hatch and one month the baby is born. These insects feed their baby, and soon the babies grow up. Some are yellow, some are brown and some are green. Woodpeckers often live in forests. Different types of trees live. They build nests in the beds of large trees.
Woodpeckers can holes up to 5 to 10 centimeters in a tree. Their lips are so sharp that they can easily break anything. The woodcutters love to see everyone. It's a lot like a tiara. These birds help keep the environment in great balance. Gradually the woodpeckers are disappearing from the environment. Many species of woodpecker are now extinct. It is the responsibility and duty of all to maintain these.
