Obra del artista Iliá Repin Iván el Terrible y su hijo que retrata al emperador de Rusia tras asesinar a su primogénito.
Muchas veces tomamos decisiones apresuradas dejándonos llevar por nuestros impulsos y por nuestra ira. Lo que no sabemos es que en este estado es quizás el peor momento que en el cual podemos hacer o decidir algo, ya que no pensamos bien ni medimos la consecuencia de nuestros actos.
Iván el terrible y su hijo
Esta obra histórica representa quizás, todas esas decisiones que hemos tomado sin pensar y que a día de hoy todavía nos arrepentimos de hacerlo.
Fue realizada por el artista ruso Ilía Repin en los años de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Actualmente está en Moscú, Rusia y puede ser visualizada por cualquier persona que visite la Galería Treitiakov.
Analizar esta obra, quizás parezca una tarea sencilla, ya que con lo primero que nos encontramos es con dos figuras masculinas tendidas en el piso, un joven agonizando, con claras muestras de haber sido lastimado y estar a punto de morir desangrando. Y una figura más adulta, que se puede deducir que es un familiar, con una mirada de horror y desesperación por lo que le ocurre a esta persona más joven.
Se pudiera creer, que la persona más joven ha sufrido algún tipo de accidente y por tal motivo la figura mayor lo protege desesperadamente entre sus brazos, sin poder encontrar una solución viable a su grave estado de salud.
Pero la verdad es que, analizando a fondo los detalles como las sillas tiradas al piso, la alfombra muy desordenada y una especie de arma punzante llena de sangre, dan a entender que lo que ocurrió aquí no fue un accidente, si no, algo más grave, como una discusión que llegó a límites muy altos.
Aun así deduciendo, que este que abraza al chico de la vestimenta rosada, es en realidad el causante de la tragedia que le ocurre, la historia que emana de estos personajes, sobre todo el de túnica negra, es increíblemente retorcida y basada en ideales que muchos consideran como absurdos.
Pensamientos retorcidos
Iván el terrible, aquel con una mirada totalmente horrorizada y que sostiene en sus brazos a su hijo Iván Ivanovich, fue el zar del imperio Moscovita por muchos años. Y aunque en su momento, y hoy en día sus políticas son muy criticadas por los métodos tan nefastos que utilizaba para poder lograr sus objetivos. No hay que negar que gracias a las gestiones que hizo o que encargaba a su gabinete político a hacer, la Unión Soviética, Rusia, el Socialismo, y las grandes infraestructuras, lograron concretarse y ser lo que hoy en día conocemos.
Así mismo, se puede decir que la población de Rusia redujo notablemente debido a todas aquellas personas que Iván el terrible asesino.
En esta obra, el artista nos intenta reflejar todos los sentimientos que vivió en aquel momento Iván, que bien sabido por todos era que este contaba con algunos trastornos mentales, que alimentaban su forma de ser. Por este motivo Iván, no solamente abarcó y perjudicó con su política y personalidad a las personas que vivían en Rusia, si no que hasta sus propios familiares se vieron víctimas de él.
Iliá Repin, aquel que logró captar todas esas emociones mediante su obra.
Según los historiadores, el motivo por el cuál Iván apuñala o atraviesa el cráneo de su hijo, es debido a que la esposa de él, se paseaba en baños menores por la propiedad de Iván, y éste intentó irse encima de ella a golpearla por esto, cuando en eso, el hijo de Iván interfiere para evitarlo. Luego de un forcejeo tremendo, Iván logra dar un buen golpe a su hijo en la parte del cráneo, el cuál lo deja inconsciente y muere lentamente desangrado, asesinado por su propio padre.
Acto seguido a esto, Iván luego de cometer el asesinato, se ve realmente aterrado y arrepentido de lo que acaba de hacer, pero simplemente no hay vuelta atrás, cuando cometes un error tan grande como ése, por el simple hecho de dejarte llevar por tus emociones y por las cosas que ocurren en el momento.
Como un espectador de la obra, puedo en cierto punto ponerme en los zapatos de Iván, ciertamente con cosas mucho menos trágicas.
Iván en este caso sería yo, e Iván hijo, serían la innumerable cantidad de problemas que se generan en mi vida por tomar decisiones o actuar apresuradamente y sin pensar realmente si lo que haré tiene sentido, está bien, o de verdad me ayudara en algo. Cuando solamente actúo sin analizar, y todo es por instinto o por inercia, y luego de que todo está hecho y no hay forma de regresar ni remediar mis actos, es que me doy cuenta de que todo es un asco, de que nada de lo que intenté salió como esperaba y solamente ahora tendré muchísimos más problemas y cosas que resolver
Si de por si antes tenía problemas, luego de eso solo le agrego más innecesariamente.

Work by the artist Iliá Repin Iván el Terrible and his son that portrays the Emperor of Russia after murdering his first-born.

Analyzing this work may seem a simple task, since the first thing we find is two male figures lying on the floor, a young man in agony, with clear signs of having been injured and being about to bleed to death. And a more adult figure, who we can deduce is a relative, with a look of horror and desperation for what is happening to this younger person.
One could believe that the younger person has suffered some kind of accident and for that reason the older figure protects him desperately in his arms, unable to find a viable solution to his serious health condition.
But the truth is that, analyzing in depth the details such as the chairs thrown on the floor, the very messy carpet and a kind of stabbing weapon full of blood, suggest that what happened here was not an accident, but something more serious, like an argument that reached very high limits.
Even deducing that the one who embraces the boy in the pink dress is in fact the cause of the tragedy that befell him, the story that emanates from these characters, especially the one in the black robe, is incredibly twisted and based on ideals that many consider absurd.

Ivan the Terrible, the one with a totally horrified look and holding his son Ivan Ivanovich in his arms, was the Tsar of the Muscovite empire for many years. Right after this, Ivan, after committing the murder, looks really terrified and sorry for what he has just done, but there is simply no turning back, when you make a mistake as big as that, by the simple fact of letting yourself be carried away by your emotions and by the things that happen in the moment.
As a spectator of the play, I can at a certain point put myself in Ivan's shoes, certainly with things much less tragic.
Ivan in this case would be me, and Ivan Jr. would be the countless amount of problems that are generated in my life by making decisions or acting hastily and without really thinking about whether what I will do makes sense, is right, or will really help me at all. When I only act without analyzing, and everything is by instinct or inertia, and after everything is done and there is no way to go back or remedy my actions, I realize that everything sucks, that nothing I tried went as expected and only now I will have many more problems and things to solve.
