How to Make the Most Delicious Vegan Meatballs at Home with Potato + Breadcrumbs?

in GEMS5 years ago (edited)

Today, I will tell you how to make the most delicious vegan meatballs you can make at home with potato + breadcrumbs + spices. For a long time I realized that I hadn't prepared any recipes for vegans. So today I prepared a delicious vegan meatball with potatoes. It is easy to make, but it takes some time to boil the potato and create the filling. I had previously prepared a meatball with cheddar and potatoes. Today, I added different ingredients such as breadcrumbs and tomato paste to the stuffing of the meatballs. I recommend making this meatball in the pan, since we do not prepare it from meat, the meatballs can be scattered in the oven.

Ingredients for Vegan Meatballs Prepared with Potatoes:

  • 4 potatoes

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 1 egg ( Vegans can prepare without using eggs. I prepared it using eggs. :) )

  • 1 tablespoon: salt, chili pepper and black pepper

  • 1 glass of breadcrumbs

Making Stages:
First we will start by boiling the potatoes in water. Add 4 potatoes in a pot, then add the water over the potatoes. Stew in water for about 30 minutes. After the potatoes are boiled, peel them and put them on a plate. Mash the potatoes on the plate with a fork or spoon Then add the egg, tomato paste, spices, salt and breadcrumbs to the plate. Mix it well with your hand and get the consistency of the vegan patties. Then give it the shape I gave with your palm or a completely round shape. Add some oil to the pan and cook the meatballs over medium heat. You can cook all meatballs in about 10 minutes. Vegan Meatballs Ready!

These look great but i don't think you can call them vegan if you use an egg :0)

Yes you are right. :)) I'll add a fix now. It can also be made without eggs. Thanks for your warning . :)
