Hello everyone hope you all are doing well.Today I will be sharing the recipe of dhaba style daal . It is a simple and very delicious recipe. It is very easy to make recipe. So without wasting our time lets move on to the ingredients.
Ingredients:
-Chana dal- 250gms
-Onion- 2 medium size
-Tomato- 2 medium size
-Coriander leaves
-Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp
-Red chilli powder- half tbsp
-Kashmiri red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
-Garam masala powder- half tbsp
-Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
-Salt- according to taste
-Dry red chilli- 2
There are many benefits of eating dal. It is rich in protein, minerals and fibre. Chana dal works best for weight loss. It helps to maintain pressure. Chana dal helps to boost immune system. It is good for healthy bones and teeth. Eating chana dal promotes healthy and glowing skin. It also boost energy level of the body. Chana dal is rich in iron. It is good for healthy eye sight. Chana dal improves digestion and reduces the problem of constipation. It helps in building muscles.
Method:
-Firstly we will wash the chana dal . We will boil the dal with salt and turmeric powder
-Heat the oil in medium flame then add onions to it. Fry the onions until it turn golden brown
-Add the tomatoes and fry it until the tomatoes gets soft
-After the tomatoes gets soft, add salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and kashmiri red chilli powder to it and mix well
-Add little water at a time and fry the masala for 5 mins so that the smell of the ginger garlic paste goes away
-Add the boiled dal to the masala and mix well. Cook the dal by covering the lid in medium flame
-Now we will add tadka to the dal. For making tadka take another small pan. Add little oil to it. After it gets heated add dry chilli to it and fry for 1mins. Then turn off the flame and add the tadka in the dal
-Garnish the dal with coriander leaves
The dhaba style dal recipe is ready to eat. Serve it with rice or roti. Enjoyyyyyyy:)
