Hello, friends of Hive! First of all, we wish you a Merry Christmas to all this wonderful community, we hope you are having a beautiful time with the ones you love the most. We also had a great time and we want to show you a new adventure we had a few days ago.
¡Hola, amigos de Hive! Antes que nada, les deseamos una feliz navidad a toda esta maravillosa comunidad, espero que se la estén pasando hermoso con los que más quieren. Nosotros también nos la pasamos súper bien y les queremos mostrar una nueva salida que tuvimos hace unos días.
We had been thinking for a couple of days about an interesting place to have fun. So @panconcajeta proposed that we go downtown to walk around and also to celebrate our first month of relationship 👨❤️💋👨💗. Earlier we spent some time at a small store to buy some small supplies for the night and here is a photo we took of @panconcajeta at the store in a funny pose. 😁
Estuvimos un par de días pensando en un lugar interesante para poder pasárnosla bien. Así que @panconcajeta propuso que fuéramos al centro de la ciudad a pasear y también a celebrar nuestro primer mes de relación 👨❤️💋👨💗. Antes pasamos un rato a una pequeña tienda a comprar unos pequeños insumos para la noche y aquí se ve una foto que tomamos a @panconcajeta en la tienda en una divertida pose. 😁
Next, we stopped by the zocalo of the city and saw that there was a huge fair set up on the plancha. We decided to stop by to see what was there and found many interesting locals, Christmas food stalls, desserts, drinks, workshops and there was also an event of some children singers.
Luego, pasamos al zócalo de la ciudad y vimos que había una enorme feria instalada en la plancha. Decidimos pasar a ver que había y nos encontramos con muchos locales interesantes, puestos de comida navideña, postres, bebidas, talleres y también había un evento de unos niños cantores.
But the most striking were the mechanical games, including a Ferris wheel and an extreme game that rotated completely, as well as children's games for the little ones. We really wanted to get on and experience the thrill of the rides together, but the line to get on the rides was huge, so we were just gazing at the scenery, the Christmas energy of the families and taking lots of pictures of the place to share with you. 🤗💕.
Pero lo más llamativo fueron los juegos mecánicos, entre ellos una rueda de la fortuna y un juego extremo que giraba por completo, así como juegos infantiles para los más pequeños. Teníamos muchas ganas de subirnos y experimentar juntos la emoción de los juegos, pero la fila para entrar a los juegos era enorme, así que solo estuvimos contemplando el paisaje, la energía navideña de las familias y tomando varias fotos del lugar para compartir con ustedes. 🤗💕.

Afterwards we headed to get something to eat, so we went to a place that @fclore22 likes a lot, as he used to visit it a lot with his family when he was a kid, The well known Café el Popular, which is a classic restaurant in the historic center of the CDMX, as it has many years in service and they offer delicious and varied food at a great price, plus a special attention. There we were able to savor some delicious green enchiladas with chicken and beans for @fclore, and a breaded breast with french fries and salad for @panconcajeta.
Posteriormente nos dirigimos a comer algo, así que fuimos a un lugar que a @fclore22 le gusta mucho, pues él solía visitarlo mucho con su familia cuando era niño, El conocido Café el Popular, el cual es un restaurante clásico del centro histórico de la CDMX, ya que tiene muchos años en servicio y ofrecen comida deliciosa y variada a un gran preció, además de una atención especial. Ahí pudimos saborear unas ricas ricas enchiladas verdes con pollo y frijoles para @fclore, y una pechuga empanizada con papas y ensalada para @panconcajeta.
As well as a delicious flan with caramel, which is particularly creamy and sweet, along with a "lechero" (coffee with milk) 😋💓.
After enjoying our nice meal, and having a lot of fun....

Finally we headed to the subway to return to our area, towards our next plan 🙈, on the way we found some pieces of art scattered around the city, as well as small stalls of artisans selling beautiful creations, as well as one of the biggest attractions of the zocalo, the Christmas lights that adorn the facades of the buildings around the plancha 🎆, which on this occasion were of noche buenas (good night), beautiful flowers very characteristic of the Christmas season.
Finalmente nos dirigimos al metro para poder regresar a nuestra zona, hacía nuestro siguiente plan 🙈, en el camino nos encontramos con algunas piezas de arte repartidas por la ciudad, así como pequeños puestos ambulantes de artesanos vendiendo hermosas creaciones, así como uno de los mayores atractivos del zócalo, las luces de navidad que adornar las fachadas de los edificios de los alrededores de la plancha 🎆, las cuales en esta ocasión fueron de noche buenas ❤️, hermosas flores muy características de la temporada navideña.
Now we were getting ready to get to @fclore22's street posada, which if you guys aren't clear on what a Mexican posada is like, he will publish a post explaining this beautiful tradition soon! ☺️. There we could to try some delicious green tamales with pork and a punch to warm us up from that cold night.
Ahora nos preparábamos para llegar a la posada de la calle de @fclore22, que sí ustedes no tienen claro como es una posada mexicana, ¡él publicará un post explicando esta hermosa tradición pronto! ☺️. Ahí pudimos probar unos deliciosos tamales verdes con carne de cerdo y un ponche para calentarnos de aquella fría noche.
The plan continued until tomorrow, where we both woke up very early to go together for the annual #influenza vaccination ☺️. Truth be told, it's the first time either of us has done something like this, so it was extra special for both of us to be company on something so important for our health. 🙈💓
El plan continuó hasta mañana, en donde los dos nos levantamos muy temprano para ir juntos la vacuna anual contra la #influenza ☺️. La verdad es la primera vez que alguno de los dos hace algo así, por lo que fue extra especial para ambos podernos acompañar en algo tan importante para nuestra salud. 🙈💓

We finally looked for something yummy to have for breakfast, until we found a little food store inside a kinda vintage plaza where we ordered chilaquiles verdes for the two of us, along with the whole complete breakfast package. They were delicious and served us very well to start the day. 😋💕
Finalmente buscamos algo rico que desayunar, hasta que encontramos un pequeño comercio de comida dentro de una plaza algo vintage en donde ordenamos chilaquiles verdes para los dos, junto con todo el paquete completo de desayuno. Estuvieron deliciosos y nos sirvieron muy bien para empezar el día. 😋💕
