Greetings friends, I hope you are well.
Continuing with my posts, today is a reason to remember the CAF 2024 Marathon that thanks to Hive Run I had the honor of being fortunate to attend as a collaborator in the care of the runners, something very new for me, I had never participated in this event, but I enjoyed it to the fullest.
I want to start this post by congratulating the runners who did very well, my admiration for them: @ Enmy and @ valdres in the half marathon category and friends @danielvehe and @erilej in the 42k marathon, saying these numbers sounds easy, but to be in this event you need a lot of training, endurance and a positive mind to achieve the goal, keep it up I hope to see you and accompany you this year 2025.

Continuando con mis publicaciones, hoy es motivo de recordar el Maratón CAF 2024 que gracias a Hive Run tuve el honor de ser afortunada de asistír como colaboradora en la atención de los corredores , algo muy nuevo para mí, nunca había participado en este evento, pero lo disfruté al máximo.
Quiero comenzar este post felicitando a los corredores que lo hicieron muy bien, mi admiración para ellos: @ Enmy y @valdres en la categoría de medio maratón y los amigos @danielvehe y @erilej en el maratón de 42k, decir estos números suenan fácil , pero para estar en este evento se necesita de mucho entrenamiento, resistencia y mente positiva para lograr el objeto, sigan así espero verlos y acompañarles este año 2025.
To attend this event I had to travel on Saturday to the city of Caracas, I met up with @enmy who had to give me some things and finish finalizing some details for this event, we shared a while, she also gave me my kit to use in the marathon (a shirt with my hive username as identification and a great sports visor), which fascinated me, I use it every time. That day they also gave me a hive awning to place at the checkpoint where we would wait for two runners, that day I had to go get two members of the hiverun delegation from the interior of the country @neilamarcano @leomontagg and @karii from the city of Caracas, we made a great team and had a super cool time. Para asistir a este evento tuve que viajar el día sábado a la ciudad de Caracas, coincidí con @enmy que me tenía que dar unas cosas y terminar de finiquitar algunos detalles para este evento, compartimos un rato, también me dió mi kit para usarlo en el maratón (una franela con mi usuario de hive como identificación y una estupenda visera deportiva), que me fascinó, cada vez la utilizo. Ese día también me entregaron un toldo de hive para colocarlo en el punto de control en donde esperaríamos a dos corredores, ese día tenía que ir por dos integrantes de la delegación hiverun del interior del país @neilamarcano @leomontagg y @karii de la cuidad de Caracas, hicimos un gran equipo y la pasamos súper chévere.
The next day, March 17, I got up very early, packed everything in my car and picked up my friends from @hiverun at approximately 5:30 am. We arrived at the checkpoint in Paradise, where we set up awnings with this fabulous team, waiting for the runners to pass by so we could give them some hydration. Then we went to the finish line in Los Caobos Park to wait for the runners to arrive. It was exciting to see the number of participants, more than 5,000 participants and volunteers. You could really feel the euphoria of all the participants in this great event. Participants came from all over Venezuela and other countries. Congratulations to the winners of the women's category, Lina Pantoja from Colombia, and in the men's category, David Rodríguez from Argentina, with an impressive time. After the runners arrived we went to the photo session which is something I really like, we also socialized for a while seeing which was the best option for lunch, it was decided to eat at the sambil and we all walked there, because it was the place where we left the cars, so it was decided to eat there really that it was a great day thanks to the organization of @hiverun.
El día siguiente, el 17 de marzo me levanté muy temprano , acomodé todo en mi carro y pasé buscando a los amigos de @hiverun aproximadamente a las 5. 30 am, llegamos al punto de control que fue en el paraíso, en donde instalamos toldos en compañía de este fabuloso equipo, esperando que pasaran las corredoras para darle su hidratación. Luego nos fuimos para el lugar de llegada en el Parque los Caobos a esperar que llegaran los corredores, fue emocionante ver la cantidad de participantes, más de 5000 participantes y voluntarios , de verdad que se sentía la euforia de todos los participantes de este magno evento, vienen participantes de toda Venezuela y de otros países . Felicitaciones a los ganadores de la categoría femenina, Lina Pantoja, de Colombia y en la categoría masculina David Rodríguez procedente de Argentina, con un tiempo impresionante .
Después que llegaron los corredores fuimos a la sesión de fotografías que es algo que me gusta muchísimo, también socializamos un rato viendo cuál era la mejor opción para almorzar, se decidió comer en el sambil y todos nos fuimos caminando hasta allá, porque fue el lugar donde dejamos los carros, de tal manera se decidió comer ahí de verdad que fue un día estupendo gracias a la organización de @hiverun .
I hope you like my experience in this marathon, where you can see the consistency and perseverance, that participating here requires eating well and having a lot of training and endurance.
Espero que le guste mi experiencia en este maratón, en donde se ve la constancia y la perseverancia, que participar acá obliga a comer bien y tener mucho entrenamiento y resistencia.
