Porridge can always be a comfort food in all situations. Starting from to start the day, to become food when we are sick.
Glutinous Rice and Corn Porridge with Coconut Milk can be a good breakfast with simple ingredients.
We can think of new things while enjoying a bowl of porridge, which will bring an atmosphere of calm during the current self-quarantine.
Ingredients
- 50 grams of glutinous rice, soak for at least 2 hours
- 100 grams of corn
- 20 grams of sugar
- 100 ml of water
- 25 ml of coconut cream
- 50 ml of coconut milk
How to make
- Step1
Soak glutinous rice for at least 2 hours, then drain.
- Step 2
Prepare the corn, separate from the stump.
- Step 3
Mix glutinous rice, corn, sugar and water, then cook over medium heat while continuing to stir.
- Step 4
After the water begins to thicken, add coconut cream and coconut milk. Cook until it boils and the texture thickens into porridge.
- Step 5
Remove and serve.
I really like this porridge even though this is the original recipe that I tried first.
I'm just trying to combine some of the ingredients that I have in the kitchen to make good food.
