I would just like to share to you the first commissioned work that I made for my aunt, although technically the first commissioned work I had was way back 2006 when my sister asked me to make a poster in one of her courses way back high school. This would just be a quick blog as we go through the process.

These all are real gems. What situation @jesusalejos has told made me somewhat sad, though. Liked @reymoya95's enthusiasm, his love for the country and loved @heleana18's simple yet beautiful creativity and, no doubt, @gailbelga's creativity is on another level, those canvas bags are beautifully painted, I'd love to have one.

Thank you very much for the mention; yes, well it's the situation that the Venezuelan deals with every day, the important thing is as I mentioned in the post, that we don't let ourselves be robbed of our inner enthusiasm, that we don't let them take away the light from our eyes for which many of us here continue to fight for a more hopeful dawn for all.
Agreed. Like resistance is needed for the evolution, progress born out of the resistance and fighting everyday for living a better life etc, IMHO, is of another level, so keep fighting unless and until situation doesn't get better for you or for the next generations to come, livelihood is what that keeps us moving.

Yet surprisingly, they have shown resiliency and strong character amid this situation. I do hope you will overcome this and go back to your better days. Just like the sands of Medanos de Coro nothing is permanent and soon a gentle breeze will soothe all your sufferings. Welcome to the new Hiver who plays the violin but rocks with the electric guitar and the trumpet! Is there anything she cannot do? I love art, especially creative art. A garden of words is definitely one in my books. Speaking of art, landing a commission for an art job is always a cause for celebration. I love the painting of illustrating traditional formal wear so common in the 1960's in our country. You done it again @appreciator. Great selection. Great read. As usual.
