Al momento de estudiar enfermería, al cursar el último semestre es indispensable rotar por diversos servicios en el área hospitalaria y ambulatoria.

En esta ocasión al pertenecer al área hospitalaria me tocó realizar guardias en el servicio de medicina interna, de esta manera pude aprender mucho en el servicio con respecto a diversas patologías y fármacos que se administran dentro del mismo servicio.
On this occasion, as I belonged to the hospital area, I had to carry out shifts in the internal medicine service, in this way I could learn a lot in the service regarding various pathologies and drugs that are administered within the same service.
El primer día que hice mi rotación por el servicio de medicina interna quedé con muchas dudas debido a que no veía movimiento al respecto, ¿con qué me refiero a movimiento? quiero decir que no veía mucho trabajo dentro el servicio, y a mi en lo particular me gusta trabajar de forma constante dentro del servicio, no soy de quedarme en servicios que son ''relajados'' como quien dice ya que eso me aburre y no me gusta estar aburrida.
The first day I did my rotation through the internal medicine service I was left with many doubts because I did not see movement in this regard, what do I mean by movement? I mean that I did not see much work within the service, and in particular I like to work constantly within the service, I am not to stay in services that are `` relaxed '' as who says since that bores me and does not like to be bored.
Sin embargo, todo esto cambió luego de que pude realizar mi tercera rotación por el servicio de medicina interna, fue allí donde conocí a una persona que hoy en día es un gran amigo y me ha enseñado mucho acerca del servicio y de los diferentes procedimientos que hay en la ciencia de enfermería.
However, all this changed after I was able to make my third rotation through the internal medicine service, it was there that I met a person who today is a great friend and has taught me a lot about the service and the different procedures that there is in nursing science.
Fue entonces cuando aprendí el verdadero trabajo que tiene el personal de enfermería dentro del servicio, y cambié mi opinión con respecto a que el servicio era relajado. Fue allí en donde aprendí a realizar muchos procedimientos ya que el personal de enfermería abarca diferentes patologías en el área de medicina interna.
It was then that I learned the real work that nurses have within the service, and I changed my opinion that the service was relaxed. It was there that I learned to perform many procedures since the nursing staff covers different pathologies in the area of internal medicine.
Medicina interna es un servicio que abarca pacientes con diferentes patologías, la mayoría de estas suelen ser crónicas sin embargo es importante saber de todo un poco porque no siempre veremos los mismos casos clínicos, es por eso que se requiere de un estudio y conocimiento diversificado para poder realizar los procedimientos de forma correcta.
Internal medicine is a service that covers patients with different pathologies, most of these are usually chronic, however it is important to know a little about everything because we will not always see the same clinical cases, that is why a diversified study and knowledge is required to be able to perform the procedures correctly.
Enfermería debe conocer cada patología que se trata en el servicio, debe de conocer la parte farmacológica que se aplica en dicha patología, además de los procedimientos de enfermería básicos y los cuidados que requiere cada uno de los pacientes.
Nursing must know each pathology that is treated in the service, it must know the pharmacological part that is applied in said pathology, in addition to the basic nursing procedures and the care that each patient requires.
Además de esto, es importante que el personal pueda asesorar a los pacientes y a sus familiares con respecto a cualquier duda que pueden llegar a presentar, así mismo esto ayuda a promocionar la salud y a su vez evitar futuras complicaciones por diversas patologías, a esto se le conoce como prevención.
In addition to this, it is important that the staff can advise patients and their families with respect to any questions they may have, likewise this helps to promote health and in turn avoid future complications due to various pathologies. known as prevention.
Gracias a la rotación que pude realizar en el servicio de medicina interna pude aprender muchas cosas como procedimientos, administración de diversos medicamentos y sobre patologías, además de los cuidados de enfermería que son un punto clave para la recuperación del paciente. Es muy gracioso que a pesar de que fue un servicio en donde no me veía a futuro hoy en día es el servicio en el que más me gusta trabajar en conjunto con enfermería.
Thanks to the rotation that I was able to carry out in the internal medicine service, I was able to learn many things such as procedures, administration of various medications and about pathologies, in addition to nursing care that is a key point for the patient's recovery. It is very funny that although it was a service where I did not see myself in the future today, it is the service in which I most like to work together with nursing.
En conclusión podríamos decir que el personal de enfermería en el servicio de medicina interna es muy amplio, cada enfermero debe de trabajar en conjunto con el equipo médico ante cualquier duda que se puede llegar a presentar ya que recordemos, se trabajan con pacientes en estado crítico por patologías crónicas avanzadas, así mismo podemos decir que enfermería es importante para poder llevar una organización en la administración de medicamentos y la recuperación del paciente, gracias a esto se logra su mejoría en la salud.
In conclusion, we could say that the nursing staff in the internal medicine service is very broad, each nurse must work together with the medical team in the face of any doubt that may arise, and remember, they work with patients in critical condition Due to advanced chronic pathologies, we can also say that nursing is important to be able to lead an organization in the administration of medications and the recovery of the patient, thanks to this improvement in health is achieved.
