Yesterday afternoon there was an hour-long rain for many caused by El Niño, for others a rarity because we are in the dry season. For me, an annual blessing from Mother Nature, who does not forget her children.
Why does it rain in March? One of the intentions lies in moistening the earth and making it softer. In this way, the underground larvae leave their lair to begin their metamorphosis, as is the case with cicadas.
The plants begin to sprout new leaves that will not last long because the bachaco defoliates them and feed the next swarm that is preparing and found other burrows.
Another example of thousands, are the trees like the apamate, the araguaney, the samán, the carnival, among others that flourish and populate the ground with seeds scattered by the wind and currents of water. like the plants that wait for these rains to ripen their fruits such as mangoes, plums, among others.
In short, nature is wise, and how not to be if it has been giving and giving everything for billions of years so that we live better.
