I recently sold one of my Stock Holding in its entirety and it has given me the best returns I have ever gotten in the stock market. The name of the Stock is Varun Beverages which is a bottling company for majority of the soft drink companies and has a sort of Majority in the market. But the reason I sold my stock holdings is because it had given me some crazy returns and the upward momentum that this Stock has to end at some point.
As you can see from the chart the Stock has rallied from 550 INR to all the way to 900 INR without even stopping for a breadth. So in my opinion it is high time that the stock dips a little so I thought this would be a nice time to book some hefty profits. So that's what I did and I have already placed a buy order at the 700 INR mark at which point I will buy again.
Now there is a very good chance that this Stock continues to go up and I lose on a much larger profit but all I am doing here is making an educated guess that the stock might Dip soon. As usual this is definitely not Financial Advice as I am not a Financial Advisor.
Hello @arunava
How nice that you are capitalizing entries in the stock market, it is certainly a volatile time and the stock may fall soon.
Best regards, be well.
Nothing wrong with locking in profits!
Yes man but most of the times I just chicken out before selling as I feel like it could go even higher but as you can see from the chart this has given a massive rally and if not tomorrow then the next month a Dip is eminent
Well chickening out has saved my butt several times. I do regret taking a massive profit on Cardano at 14 cents and watching it go to over $2 but it's ok.
It is good to Take profit.
Happy for you man . i always regret not taking profit and should learn it from you as it is something most important in any market.
Hope it will dip and you'll buy again!
It's so hard to take out profits man. I have been in the stock Market for over 2 years and I have only booked profits in 4 stocks as I always have the feeling that the stock will go even higher once I cash out.
