This post is a response to this post by menoski, the subject of which is: "Why Should Entrepreneurs Be Having Sex More Often".
My reply became quite long, and hopefully is useful to others, so i decided to make a post instead.
Good day good Sir @menoski. Here's some #fun information for you, but not to be taken (like any thing) too seriously:
From my understanding Brahmacharya (one of the 5 Yamas) is the better way to increase and channel creative energy by sublimating the sexual (creative) energy. If we ejaculate, we waste an enormous store of seed energy (unless making a baby).
There are two schools of thought re. Brahmacharya;
One is celibacy (abstaining from sex) combined with sublimation of the sexual energies (certain breath and yoga practices help with this as well as artistic expression).
The other is sexual continence whereby one delays the ejaculation indefinitely yet can with practice experience multiple mini orgasms, ultimately leading to whole body orgasm in union with the Divine. There are some specific sublimation practices which can be done during sex, as well as pelvic muscle training excercises, which can both help postpone (ideally indefinitely) the ejaculation.

Woah!!! We learn new things every day. I have heard of Celibacy before, monks and priests practice it but this is my first time hearing of sexual continence. I really don't understand sexual continence, I will have to read it up more.
In all, you are saying having sex regularly based on the Brahmacharya belief system is not ideal. People's beliefs are strong and not something to argue against. I'm a science-driven person and lover of facts. Based on science there are benefits sex provides, but if someone is looking for a supreme power or divine power, yes Sex isn't ideal as it will not make you strong spiritually. But if you are someone who is trying to be productive and not very spiritual, then Sex often I suppose isn't bad.
Priests and Monks devote their life to spirituality and hence, they abstain from sex. But many rich and wealthy folks are sexual animals and make money. So I think different people and their different pursuits for success, are determining factors in people's sexual lifestyles.

In a nutshell, Sex is good, but with ejaculation it drains creative energy. Sex without ejaculation can increase creative energy and presence. But yeah, i encourage you to read up. i will dig into my drive to find some pdf's i have.
People have sex without ejaculating? Woah!!! What's then the reason for the sex? I don't know all this, this is new and strange to me, strange to hear it. I really have a lot to learn. Hence, masturbation is extremely terrible.
