Levi is a 1 1/2 year old dog who was adopted by Laura and has finally found a loving home. Unfortunately, it has now turned out that Levi urgently needs a hip surgery and physiotherapy to live a healthy and pain-free dog life.
However, Laura is currently a trainee, which means her financial resources are very limited.
The surgery costs will be about EUR 2.500,- and as far as I have heard about these treatments, there will certainly be more costs for the two of them.

Liebe Tierfreunde, hier ist eine Geschichte, die ich heute von einem vertrauenswürdigen Hivian erfahren habe und die ich gerne mit euch teilen möchte:

Warum ich das hier poste:
- Ich weiß aus eigener Erfahrung, dass die Fürsorge für ein krankes Tier und die Tierarztkosten eine sehr große Belastung sein können und ich würde mich sehr freuen Laura und Levi auf diesem Wege helfen zu können
- @obvious hat ein Posting darüber geschrieben, allerdings nur in deutscher Sprache. Mein erster Gedanke dazu war, schade, mit einem englischen Posting würde er bestimmt noch viel mehr helfende Tierfreunde erreichen
- Ist dies wiederum eine sehr schöne Gelegenheit, um der Welt zu zeigen, wozu Social Media 3.0 im Stande ist. Wo sonst könnt ihr etwas Gutes unterstützen und dabei sogar selbst noch dafür belohnt werden?
Ich sehe @obvious als zuverlässiges und langjähriges Mitglied der deutschsprachigen DACH Community und somit vertraue ich persönlich darauf, dass die Geschichte stimmt und auch das über die upvotes gespendete Geld bei Laura ankommen wird.

It was $2,000 plus months of care. However he was absolutely phenomenal and didn't complain in the very least.
It would be nice to know more about the situation because I am aware that our donation will help however it would be nice to know how much more we have to raise.

Ich weiß nicht, ob es sich hier um diese Art von Hüftoperation handelt. Soweit ich weiß gibt es eine sehr einfache, anscheinend relativ schmerzfreie Therapie dafür.

Dirk Schrader würde ich dir überhaupt empfehlen, falls du den noch nicht kennst.
Ob das jetzt die richtige Methode für dieses Hundi ist, weiß ich nicht. Aber vielleicht könnte es ihm viel Leid und Stress ersparen. (Die Operation scheint auch nicht recht aufwendig zu sein)

This is getting shared by a dog blog!!!
As my previous service dog had a huge hip dysplasia problem we know exactly how this is not only expensive but also a labor of love to carry and care for a creature.
Here is our vote we only have a penny. We are also going to go to the other post and put another vote on there as well. And we will share both of these posts.
Hip dysplasia is very painful and debilitating genetic injury and this account is celebrating a extremely highly bred German Shepherd that won't ever suffer from this affliction.
However when one of the dogs needs help the entire pack should come.
Well here I am. And I'm going to go get more friends to come help.

@wrestlingdesires I wish I could do more to help, my vote is not worth much but every little bit will help. I will also reblog this post. My daughter just had to pay a $1,800.00 dollar Vet bill but thankfully her 12-year-old Pitt is going to be ok. She ate a hole in a mattress which created a blockage in her intestines. They are not dogs, they are family. Prayers for Levi.
