Hello hiveians
Happy new year and a beautiful weekend to you all in this great community, I hope you are all doing great, this is my first post in this community and I hope you will learn something meaningful from my creativity I bring to you, it's my pleasure to share with you the making of this small purse I made for grandma for safe keeping of her phone and cash.
Grandma had wanted a purse for herself for the safe keeping of her phone and I decided to make one for her from the pieces of fabric I had left from my previous work, I thought of making use of the scraps instead of disposing them and the outcome was so nice and beautiful.
Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process.
I cut out 11 x 8" from the pieces of fabric I had left with lining and interfacing the the interfacing was ironed on the main fabric.
It was taken to the sewing machine as I sew a zipper on both top with lining to secure the items in the purse.
It was folded lining to lining and fabric to fabric as I sew on both sides leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out.
For a sitting bottom, I measured 1" upward and folded it before sewing together.
It was turned inside out through the opening and stitched on the opening.
This is the final outcome of the purse I made for grandma and I hope you like it.
You can as well try this out with your left over fabric and you will like the outcome.
You just made grandma happy expect hi blessings
Muy bello trabajo.... Saludos, bendiciones y que tengas éxitos..❤️
