In this post I share some of my internal hive trading experience.
I got my hands on 523 liquid HIVE and I really wanted to do some trading to build up the bag, I thought maybe I can go on hive engine and trade SWAP.HIVE for SWAP.BTC, I gave it a go and managed to make a slight profit, leaving with 538 HIVE, not a huge gain and it also took a few days, the volume is fairly low as you can see form the screenshot below.
This low volume(3.3k USD at time of screenshot) makes trading a lot slower, The volume on the internal hive market is a lot higher however its only for the HIVE/HBD pair, also the interface doesn't have a proper chart only a market depth chart.
I may give that a go sometimes but for now I gave up on the trading I ended up buying a few hive engine tokens and converted the rest of the HIVE into HBD and put it into saving for the 20% interest , with the recent price drop in the HIVE and the market overall it looks like it was a pretty good move.

Anytime I try to do some internal HIVE trading I fuck myself. When there is a HIVE pump (or dump) and I have some HBD and try to play the market it's never a win :(
so I just don't do it any more. HBD savings is where it's at for me with post rewards. And over on H-E it's the LPs for the win 🏆
I can dig that approach, trading its not all its cracked up to be especially with the internal market low volume makes things even worse

Yeah HBD is pretty nice and a 3 day unstake is not too bad at all, great for the rocky market conditions we been in
And they have been a mite bit on the roller coaster. Good old Elon is good at keeping crypto up and lately down.
I don't think he has manipulated the crypto market in a while Tesla sold 75% of their bitcoin last year
