It is a pleasure to share with you one of my achievements in Brazil, the country where I have been living for about three years, I finally managed to move into my own apartment! It wasn't easy to get it, it has been a constant struggle, because the bills don't pay themselves, hahaha. The truth is that we have worked three times as hard to get this new home.

Hola a todos, queridos usuarios que hacen vida en esta gran plataforma, especialmente en esta comunidad @gems.
Es un placer compartir con ustedes uno de mis logros en Brasil, país en el que vivo desde hace unos tres años. ¡Por fin he conseguido mudarme a mi propio piso! No fue fácil conseguirlo, ha sido una lucha constante, porque las facturas no se pagan solas, jajaja. La verdad es que hemos trabajado el triple para conseguir este nuevo hogar.
I have been living here for three months. It is a very quiet place; in this condo there are 600 apartments and I think most of the owners have not moved in yet. Many rent them only seasonally, as this area is known for its beautiful beaches.
Tengo tres meses viviendo aquí. Es un lugar muy tranquilo; en este condominio hay 600 apartamentos y creo que la mayoría de los propietarios aún no se ha mudado. Muchos los alquilan solo por temporada, ya que esta zona es conocida por sus hermosas playas.
When we received the apartment, it did not have any kitchen or bathroom furniture, just the space with its floor ready and everything working. We had to install the shower, the box in the bathroom and the toilet lid. We still need to put some furniture in the bathroom for more comfort. In the kitchen, since we can't do a planned kitchen at the moment, we opted to buy ready-made furniture. My husband and I assembled them and, in my opinion, they turned out well. It was not a big investment in terms of money, but we are working with what we have at hand and it has helped us to organize ourselves better, since when we moved in we had nowhere to put things.
Cuando recibimos el apartamento, no tenía ningún mueble de cocina ni de baño, solo el espacio con su piso listo y todo funcionando. Nos tocó instalar la regadera, el box en el baño y la tapa de la poceta. Todavía nos falta colocar algún mueble en el baño para mayor comodidad. En la cocina, como en este momento no podemos hacer una cozinha planejada, optamos por comprar muebles listos. Mi esposo y yo los montamos, y, a mi parecer, quedaron bien. No fue una gran inversión en términos de dinero, pero estamos trabajando con lo que tenemos a la mano y nos ha servido muy bien para organizarnos mejor, ya que cuando nos mudamos no teníamos dónde colocar las cosas.
In my living room I only have my work space and our table, which used to have six chairs, but now it is four. We have my son's room and our room set up. There are three of us living in this apartment.
En mi sala solo tengo mi espacio de trabajo y nuestra mesa, que era de seis sillas, pero ahora es de cuatro. Tenemos arreglado el cuarto de mi hijo y el nuestro. Somos tres personas las que vivimos en este apartamento.
Every day I thank God for this initial investment. We waited a year and a half, but it was worth it.
I am very happy to be able to share this joy with you. In the midst of so many difficult situations, this is a light of hope, because when you are stable in one place, you can think about other things. We are slowly building our space and, at the same time, enjoying the beautiful view that this condo has here in Rio de Janeiro.
Todos los días le doy gracias a Dios por esta inversión inicial. Esperamos un año y medio, pero valió la pena.
Me siento muy contenta de poder compartir esta dicha con ustedes. En medio de tantas situaciones difíciles, esto es una luz de esperanza, porque cuando estás estable en un lugar, puedes pensar en otras cosas. Vamos poco a poco construyendo nuestro espacio y, al mismo tiempo, disfrutando de la hermosa vista que tiene este condominio aquí en Río de Janeiro.
If there is one thing I have learned in this process is that every effort has its reward. Sometimes the road looks difficult, but every step we take brings us closer to our dreams. No matter how small the progress seems, the important thing is to keep moving forward. With patience, hard work and faith, everything comes in its perfect time. Never stop fighting for what you want!
Si algo he aprendido en este proceso es que todo esfuerzo tiene su recompensa. A veces el camino se ve difícil, pero cada paso que damos nos acerca a nuestros sueños. No importa cuán pequeño parezca el avance, lo importante es seguir adelante. Con paciencia, trabajo y fe, todo llega en su momento perfecto. ¡Nunca dejes de luchar por lo que deseas!

Siento una alegría inmensa por ustedes, porque sé cuanto sacrificio implica comprar un inmueble y cuánta tranquilidad es no tener que pagar un alquiler y estar con el alma en vilo cuando te piden desalojar.
Aunque haya habido bajas en el camino, siguieron adelante, y eso es lo importante.
