With the news we got last Tuesday here in Holland about the new LockDown a new work office is the new normal again. So I am working from home and as I blogged about before the new office was redone and all cleaned up and improved for a new period of home work and probably home schooling.

There are so many infections with corona.
That is why the rules had to be changed. The rules are very strickt and a fine is also possible. The rules apply for at least 2 weeks. Maybe even longer.

As much as possible work from home.
Wear mouth masks. Cafes and restaurants closed. Most shops closed in the evening at a max of 22.00 CET. No alcohol and soft drugs in the evening
Events are canceled. Yes all events are cancelled. No musicals, concerts or stand up comedy anymore.

New rules for sports

This applies to people aged 18 and over. The sports rules do not apply to children up to the age of 18. They are allowed to play sports in larger teams. Or play matches with teams from their own club. Sports canteens are closed. Showers and changing rooms are closed.

So that’s the status now. I have to say that with 200.000 people sick it’s so nesseccary but it’s hard. Don’t get me wrong it’s that for everybody where ever on the world.

I know we are close to a cure but when the cure is available to all of us well that will take much time. And u till than this is the new normal. I have to get the work done from home and that’s fine. Wanna know why? Well I can take walk breaks when the weather is good. And today this was possible and I took the opportunity to be in nature while I took a break.

Thanks for sharing... whenever I remember to appreciate the beauty of nature and clouds etc... and then notice so many people around scowling looking miserable I always reflect on how beauty is everywhere all around us, we just have to remember to look for it..

So true, I got a bit sad looking at the beautiful nature while all others just had their phone in hands

bingo! like BrittandJosie said people just look down robotically at 'smart devicees' and miss the beauty we are afforded outside. The screen life is a double edged sword and this post is really good imho

She is a big uppity up with NATO
image.pngHey @Brittandjosie, just to show how small a world it is, this is my NIECE, who lives now in Belgium.

Secretary General visits Dutch airbase hosting NATO deterrence exercise

Oh cool she is with our minister of defence i see

From what I read, it seems so.
Her mother is my niece, same age with me being 2 months older.
I lived in their basement from '09-'16, of course Jessica (pictured) was long gone
And working for the Dept of Defense, then as an intern in the White House
Under Obama. I just spent yesterday afternoon helping as caregiver for
Her father, who is now a quadriplegic.
Now she works for NATO

Mesmerizing pictures.

This is what we need now we are in lockdown

Nice pictures! It's nice going outdoors in nature. We have some nice days coming.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Great post, Covid is deadly serious to say the least, me and my husband had it back in July, were quarantined/did it even longer cause it leaves you very tired but I can't imagine for some how bad it is, as an Asthmatic it's even more scary but we bounced back quick. A neighbor of mine , she died of it. I heard the sirens a few times on things.
I'm glad you are sharing this side of your world and yourself with us, dunno but sometimes rather serious posts I feel more. The cow pictures made me happy! If it's any consolation have been working from home for years and know the good and bad of it but on nice days like that is very good to be in nature, fresh air.
axey

Hi axey thanks and indeed staying safe and surviving is the most important thing we have to do. The dutch dont do that very well, thats why we have the lockdown now. But we will survive. I am sorry to hear that you both had the virus and you lost your neighbour, i wish you well and talk to you soon

What beautiful landscapes, they are spectacular! @brittandjosie. Thank you for such a beautiful gift. A hug
