¡Hola a todos!
Hace poco noté que había una nueva iniciativa iniciada por @Kelvinspace, acerca de nuestros dulces preferidos, me gustó muchísimo así que quise unirme.
Siendo sincera, me costó algo elegir sólo 3 jajajaja hay muchos dulces en mi país que me encantan, pero traté de escoger golosinas que suelen venderse y no hacerse en casa.

I recently noticed that there was a new initiative started by @Kelvinspace, about our favorite sweets, I really liked it so I wanted to join.
To be honest, I had a hard time choosing only 3 hahahaha there are many sweets in my country that I love, but I tried to choose treats that are usually sold and not made at home.

El chocolate es una de las cosas que más me da felicidad en este mundo, (a parte de bordar y bailar) ¡y los chocolates Savoy son parte de la vida del Venezolano! Los Torontos son bombones con centro de avellana.
Esta golosina en particular me trae muchos recuerdos de mi niñez (Antes de la crisis económica) ya que era lo que pedía a mis padres apenas entrábamos en una panadería, y era muy común regalarlos en navidad. A mi mamá en particular le regalaban muchos de estos, y ya que a ella no le gustaba el chocolate, me los daba a mi y a mi hermana, y eso me daba mucha felicidad. ♥

Chocolate is one of the things that gives me the most happiness in this world, (besides embroidery and dancing) and Savoy chocolates are part of the Venezuelan's life! Torontos are chocolates with a hazelnut center.This particular candy brings back many memories of my childhood (before the economic crisis) as it was what I used to ask to my parents as soon as we entered into a bakery, and it was very common to give them to your friends or relatives in chirstmas time. My mom in particular was given a lot of these, and since she didn't like chocolate, she would give them to me and my sister, and that gave me a lot of happiness. ♥

Son unas ricas galletas con una contextura bastante suave, su sabor es muy particular ya que se endulzan con panelas de azúcar de caña (papelón) y tienen un toque de canela. Su venta no es tan comercializada en mercados o tiendas, si no que es más común ver vendedores en la carretera vendiéndolas, o en simple vendedores ambulantes. Son bastante adictivas, y uniendolas con una taza de café, se obtiene la merienda perfecta.

They are delicious cookies with a fairly soft texture, its flavor is very particular because they are sweetened with sugarcane panelas (papelón) and have a touch of cinnamon. Its sale is not so commercialized in markets or stores, it is more common to see vendors on the road selling them, or in simple street vendors. They are quite addictive, and when combined with a cup of coffee, they are the perfect snack.

¿Otra vez un chocolate de Savoy? Pues sí, son los mejores jajaja, y amo en particular el de avellanas, ya que me encantan los frutos secos. Cuando era niña, mi padre siempre me regalaba uno cuando ibamos al mercado juntos o cuándo nos tocaba hacer un viaje juntos, también me trae lindos recuerdos.

Another Savoy chocolate? Well yes,because they are the best hahaha, and I particularly love the hazelnut one, as I love nuts. When I was a child, my father always gave me one when we went to the market together or when we went on a trip together, it also brings back nice memories.
