Como saben o bueno si es primera vez que me leen: Soy Venezolana, del lado oriental, con mucho sabor y alegría JAJAJAJAJAJA, nací y he vivido en Cumaná desde entonces. Venezuela es un país lleno de muchas cualidades pero ya para cuando nací las cosas andaban medio extrañas a nivel político, sin embargo, tuve una niñez tranquila.
Fui creciendo y las cosas se fueron tornando más y más oscuras porque entonces comenzó la crisis a agravarse tanto que desmejoro la calidad de vida de muchas personas a tal punto que ya por año 2010 el ambiente sociopolítico y económico estaba tenso.
La verdad que con el pasar de los años todo comenzó a empeorar, así que yo iba creciendo en un país que comenzaba a colapsar un poco mucho, y que se fue a pico fuertemente. En el año 2017 el país tenía: escasez, protestas, colapso de los servicios, una inflación que Dios mío. En aquel entonces de verdad que me afectaba ver tantas cosas que yo sabía que no eran normales pero que las personas tomaban como si nada.
As you know or well if this is the first time you read me: I am Venezuelan, from the eastern side, with a lot of flavor and joy HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I was born and have lived in Cumaná since then. Venezuela is a country full of many qualities but by the time I was born things were a bit strange politically, however, I had a peaceful childhood.
I grew up and things became darker and darker because then the crisis began to worsen so much that the quality of life of many people deteriorated to such an extent that by 2010 the socio-political and economic environment was tense.
The truth is that as the years went by everything began to worsen, so I was growing up in a country that was beginning to collapse a little bit a lot, and that was going to peak strongly. In 2017 the country had: shortages, protests, collapse of services, an inflation that my God. At that time it really affected me to see so many things that I knew were not normal but that people took as if nothing.
El 2018 llego y las cosas se calmaron en cuanto a protestas, pero en Marzo de 2019 las cosas empeoraron, y si Marzo es muy problemático de verdad, había estado sucediendo en el país varias protestas nuevamente pero la gota que reboso el vaso fue el apagón nacional, estuvimos 7 días SIN luz. La gente colapso, la comida se dañó, no podíamos dormir en paz y comprar alimentos era toda una odiosea. No les puedo explicar nuestra desesperación y angustia, unos de los peores días de mi vida.
El 2020… Bueno ustedes ya saben que paso a nivel mundial: el covid entro al chat pss, entonces tenemos un país donde los hospitales no tienen ni alcohol y el pobre personal de Salud que gana un salario de burla tiene que enfrentarse a una pandemia y nosotros los simples mortales tenemos que cuidarnos y hacer todo por internet… Pero sorpresa, te roban los cables del internet (al momento de escribir esto han cortados los míos, así que hago todo con datos móviles).
Ni hablar de las universidades públicas y autónomas que han sido apaleadas hasta con la olla en esta cuarentena, destrucción total.
2018 came and things calmed down in terms of protests, but in March 2019 things got worse, and yes March is very problematic indeed, there had been happening in the country several protests again but the straw that broke the camel's back was the national blackout, we were 7 days WITHOUT light. People collapsed, food was damaged, we couldn't sleep in peace and buying food was a real nightmare. I can't explain our desperation and anguish, some of the worst days of my life.
The 2020... Well you already know what happened worldwide: the covid entered the chat pss, then we have a country where hospitals do not even have alcohol and the poor health personnel who earn a mock salary have to face a pandemic and we mere mortals have to take care of ourselves and do everything by internet... But surprise, they steal your internet cables (at the time of writing this mine have been cut, so I do everything with mobile data).
Not to mention the public and autonomous universities that have been beaten to a pulp in this quarantine, total destruction.
No todo es malo, lo que hemos aprendido los venezolanos de todo esto es a emprender pero es muy difícil en un país donde nada es seguro y todo es: ¿Cuánta ahí pa esa? Nota: para personas de otros países eso significa que cuánto dinero das para resolver algún problema
Así que… Aprendemos, nos adaptamos e intentamos vivir en paz aunque a veces sea un reto.

Not everything is bad, what we Venezuelans have learned from all this is to be enterprising but it is very difficult in a country where nothing is safe and everything is: How much is there for that? Note: for people from other countries that means how much money do you give to solve some problem.
So... We learn, we adapt and we try to live in peace even if sometimes it is a challenge.
