Hi hivers, today I’ll be sharing the 22 most important life lessons I learned before I turned 22 few months back. I’d post half now and post the remaining half later.

1.) Its okay to not have your life figured out yet;
It’s absolutely okay to still be in the figuring stage. Don’t stress out.

2.) Find the learning opportunity in every moment;
A lot of stuff happens that we can’t control. Some may be good, others bad but it’s good to try and find a learning opportunity in every moment.

3.) Always follow your gut;
Have you ever heard of gut feeling? Some call it intuition, one thing is certain that gut feeling is always right. Always listen to your intuition.

4.) Everyone won’t like you;
You can never be liked by everyone and that’s totally fine because your existence isn’t to please people and don’t apologize if others can’t handle your shine.

5.) Your body is Golden temple, treat it like one;
It’s important to have a healthy routine, take good care of your body, eat healthy and get enough sleep.

6.) Embrace change;
This is very important. Be open to change because change is constant. You grow everyday and this evolves into a much greater version of yourself. So rather than being afraid of change embrace it.

7.) Be grateful for what you have;
Gratitude should be a lifestyle. It keeps you grounded, brings you a lot of joy and put things into perspective.

8.) Mistakes are a good thing;
Always have a positive mindset. If you see mistakes as a stepping stone to success it’ll be that for you. I don’t think it’s possible to go through life without making mistakes but you react to them is what’s important.

9.) It’s okay to ask for help;
Asking for help doesn’t make you weak and one shouldn’t be embarrassed to request for help. No one deserves to go through life alone.

10.) Always be positive;
Be positive always. A positive spirit is a necessity.

11.) Let go;
If something is bringing you more sadness than joy-let them go. It could be friendship, relationship, even material things, let them go. There’s no point holding on to things that don’t add value to your life.
