Entre tanto suceso inesperado y tanta crisis en Venezuela a veces se necesita un respiro, hacer un esfuerzo para salir un poco de la rutina y liberar un poco de tensión, por esta razón, unos amigos nos pusimos de acuerdo y realizamos una comelona.
Decidimos entonces hacer PEPITOS. Acá en Venezuela un PEPITO es un pan canilla, al que le colocas repollo, zanahoria, cebolla, tomate, pimentón, lechuga, huevo, queso, carne, pollo y básicamente cualquier otra cosa que quieras, considerado comida rápida y que uno disfruta demasiado de hacer y comer.
Between so many unexpected events and so many crisis in Venezuela sometimes you need a break, make an effort to get out of the routine a bit and release a little tension, for this reason, some friends agreed and made a comelona.
So we decided to make PEPITOS. Here in Venezuela a PEPITO is a canilla bread, to which you put cabbage, carrots, onion, tomato, paprika, lettuce, egg, cheese, meat, chicken and basically anything else you want, considered fast food and that one enjoys too much make and eat.

Al llegar todos a casa, pusimos buena música a todo volumen y comenzamos con la preparación de los Pepitos, realmente está vez fueron los hombres quienes se encargaron de la preparación de la comida y vaya que nos dieron ¡una grata sorpresa! La comida estaba D I V I N A, definitivamente le pusieron bastante amor a la preparación y todos disfrutamos degustando esos pepitos tan copiosos. 😍
When we all got home, we put on good music at full volume and started preparing the Pepitos, really this time it was the men who were in charge of preparing the food and they gave us a pleasant surprise! The food was D E L I C I O U S*, they definitely put a lot of love into the preparation and we all enjoyed tasting those copious pepitos. 😍

Luego de comer, nos preparamos unos traguitos 🍹 (GUARAPITA, que no es más que Ron Blanco o Aguardiente con jugo de Parchita y bastante hielo, una bebida bien agradable y económica para disfrutar con amigos y pasar un buen rato) y nos sentamos a jugar interminables partidas de Dominó.
Las risas y los chistes nunca faltaron, de verdad TODOS NECESITABAMOS DESPEJARNOS, pasar un momento agradable que nos permitiera renovarnos. Y exactamente eso fue, nos sentíamos más jóvenes, más animados, livianos y agradecidos. Ante todo felices por tener la posibilidad de compartir en un círculo de amistad tan bonito y diverso.
After eating, we prepare a few drinks 🍹 (GUARAPITA, which is nothing more than White Rum or Brandy with Parchita juice and plenty of ice, a very pleasant and inexpensive drink for enjoy with friends and have a good time) and we sat down to play endless games of Dominoes.
Laughter and jokes were never lacking, really WE ALL NEEDED TO CLEAR OURSELVES, to have a pleasant moment that would allow us to renew ourselves. And exactly that was it, we felt younger, more animated, lighter and grateful. Above all, happy to be able to share in such a beautiful and diverse circle of friendship.

A la mañana siguiente preparamos unas ricas Arepas y desayunamos todos juntos para ya luego despedirnos, cada quien se marchó a su casa pero con bonitos recuerdos, hasta creamos un grupo de WhatsApp con la intención de organizar otra reunión en un futuro no muy lejano.
The next morning we prepare some delicious Arepas and have breakfast together and then say goodbye, each one went home but with beautiful memories, we even created a WhatsApp group with the intention of organizing another meeting in the not too distant future.
