What is happiness, anyway?
For all I know, more words have been penned down to define happiness than any other state of mind.
Don't worry, this post will not be one those books. I know you have your own words to weave the tapestry of it.
But one thing's for sure: if I offered you right now a machine that could stimulate your brain and boost within you that positive feeling you desire any time you would want it to, you would refuse.
Because it's not just the sudden rush of happiness that we want, we actually want to be entitled for that feeling.
During this pandemic, in the absence of cherished people, It's so easy to see the glass half-empty. Solitude sometimes invites many unwanted feelings of loneliness.
Needless to say, I've tried many popular shortcuts like binge-watching my favorite TV shows and eating chocolates. But I've found their effects wavering.
Because, like mentioned on the outset, happiness is rather worked for than waited for.
And this thirst had led me to a whole new world of Digital Art.
Allow me to share with you my humble beginnings.

It started from a simple drawing on my memo pad.

Then I thought to myself, "I am not a digital artist, but I can do a pretty good trace."
So I took a picture of my drawing and opened it in Photoshop.
Then little by little, I did the tracing and coloring with only my mouse and the pen tool and the ever-recurring desire for satisfaction.
And finally, on that despairing day, Troy the Turtle was given colors.
Troy, our adventurous little turtle has yet a lot to learn in his rich, digitally-drawn life. Stay tuned to see what happens to our green friend. :)

I know, It does not come close to being impressive, but it got me through the low pitches.
It may have been longer and took more effort than the usual entertainment, but the joy it left is lasting.
Of course, there are few more ways than one to get that happy pill but more to that later.
