Last night I was lucky enough to find myself staring at the stars in the courtyard of my parents' house and it was such a magical moment, and fresh in the face of all this annoying quartente is, that made me smile and think about taking a photograph to share with you.
I don't think there's a human being who hasn't felt, at least once in his/her life, moved by the night sky. At least in my years of life I had the opportunity to enjoy many beautiful views of night skies and this is no exception to them. It made me think how impressive the universe around us is and how amazing it must have been for ancient civilizations to see this kind of visual delight, I suppose for that reason many of their knowledge and their life was based in the study of the stars.
The secret of life, to me, is just enjoying these kinds of moments. The details we can see day by day end up being more impressive than we ever imagined. Perhaps, in the future we will look up more often and remember we aren't the center of the universe, let alone the best there is in it, there, millions of light years away, there must be such incredible things that we aren't even able to imagine in fiction.
