I wasn’t braced for this! I honestly didn’t know corn grew at the back of my house, lol. I mean, I’m aware of the fresh green leaves like pumpkin, scent leaves, curry leaves, bitter leaves, water leaves and a bunch of other things.
I actually looked at a corner of the farm and saw this;
My attention never went that way, plus I rarely go to the back. Another thing is...I didn’t expect that the corn would come out so rich and milky.
Extra Tip; It’s more nutritious to cook your corn in the husk.
I recently started growing Aloe vera. I use this tiny bucket to grow it because aloe plant doesn’t like excessive sunlight or water (my observation) so I keep it in a cool environment instead of in the farm.
We plucked these beauties from the farm last week, because we needed to make the delicious native Edikankong soup. Okra soup will be prepared this week. I couldn’t resist taking a picture. How I love GREENS!!!
Fresh red peppers came from the farm too!
Yes, Yes I know you want to see a better picture of me at the farm so here goes;
