Desde chica me han enseñado a que si quiero algo, debo esforzarme al máximo, que nunca debo decir que no puedo porque con disciplina y dedicación puedes lograr lo que te propongas y que con amor las cosas salen más bonitas.

Hoy lo primero que hice en el día fue llorar, pero no me malentiendan ¡He llorado de pura alegría! porque hace un año mi sueño de tener un negocio propio se hizo realidad con un presupuesto tan mínimo como mis pensamientos de lo que podía llegar a ser todo esto.

Since I was a little girl I have been taught that if I want something, I should try my best, that I should never say I can't because with discipline and dedication you can achieve whatever you set your mind to and that with love things turn out better.

Today the first thing I did today was cry, but don't get me wrong I cried out of pure joy! because a year ago my dream of having my own business became a reality with a budget as minimal as my thoughts of what all this could be

Hace un año estaba en una etapa fuerte económicamente hablando, solo tenía un par de zapatos los cuales ya estaban bastante deteriorados y sacaba de donde no tenía para ir a la universidad casi a diario. Mi papá y mi mamá luchaban para poder ayudarme pero aun así seguía siendo difícil para ellos, yo trabajaba sacando cejas a domicilio y con eso sacaba algo de pasaje para ir a estudiar. Un buen día, mi papá llega con 10$ específicamente guardados para que me comprara unos zapatos ya que los que tenía tenían hoyos en la planta del pie (si, terrible).

A year ago I was in a strong stage economically speaking, I only had a pair of shoes which were already quite deteriorated and I had to get from where I didn't have to go to college almost every day. My mom and dad were struggling to help me but it was still difficult for them, I was working at home plucking eyebrows and with that I was able to get some money to go to school. One day, my dad arrived with $10 specifically saved for me to buy me some shoes because the ones I had had holes in the sole of my feet (yes, terrible).

Tomé el dinero, lo agradecí pero algo en mí no quería gastarlo en unos zapatos que se deteriorarían en 2 años, quería algo que me generara dinero y así poder ayudar a mis papas y ayudarme a salir adelante con mis gastos de la universidad. Mi tía siempre ha sido un gran apoyo para mí así que de inmediato fui con ella y le comente lo que quería hacer y no dudo en ofrecerme todo su apoyo así que sin pensarlo esa misma semana fuimos a comprar lo que serían nuestros primeros productos.

I took the money, I appreciated it but something in me did not want to spend it on shoes that would deteriorate in 2 years, I wanted something that would generate money for me so I could help my parents and help me get ahead with my college expenses. My aunt has always been a great support for me so I immediately went to her and told her what I wanted to do and she did not hesitate to offer me all her support so without thinking that same week we went to buy what would be our first products.

No tenía donde venderlos, pero como vivimos cerca de un mercado campesino decidimos colocar una mesita afuera del mismo para que cuando salieran las personas pudieran vernos. Sorprendentemente y gracias a Dios en solo días vendimos todo y volvimos a buscar mercancía porque para nuestra buena fortuna caímos en una fecha con mucha demanda como lo es el 14 de febrero donde también logramos vender todo con éxito.

I had nowhere to sell them, but since we live near a farmer's market we decided to place a small table outside the market so that when people came out they could see us. Surprisingly and thank God in just a few days we sold everything and went back to look for merchandise because to our good fortune we fell on a date with a lot of demand such as February 14 where we also managed to sell everything successfully.

La felicidad que sentía no tenía tamaño con el cual compararlo, de esta rutina pasaron meses hasta que un día de Julio logramos alquilar un local pequeño dentro del mercado campesino. Con ayuda de mi papá y el apoyo de la gente inauguramos una semana después y así nos mantenemos hasta el día de hoy. De verdad no tengo palabras para agradecer todo el apoyo, el cariño y los consejos que he recibido a lo largo de toda esta magnífica experiencia que no voy a negar, no es tan fácil como pensé pero como dice mi papá: Insistir, persistir y nunca desistir son las palabras que al día de hoy son el emblema de este lindo emprendimiento.

The happiness I felt had no size to compare it with, months went by until one day in July we managed to rent a small place inside the farmer's market. With the help of my dad and the support of the people we inaugurated a week later and that's how we stay until today. I really have no words to thank all the support, love and advice I have received throughout this magnificent experience that I will not deny, it is not as easy as I thought but as my dad says: Insist, persist and never give up are the words that today are the emblem of this beautiful undertaking.

Solo me queda por decir GRACIAS por que solo por ustedes hoy mi pequeño emprendimiento tiene nombre y lugar. Pyr cosmetics seguirá creciendo con los años ❤️
