My dear readers,
Were you aware that, in addition to my architectural and historical significance, I am also one of the most important museum cities in Europe? The thematic diversity of the exhibits gathered within my walls is generally considered to be internationally unique and is constantly growing. For example, the interactive exhibition "Notre-Dame de Paris" has currently moved into the Palais im Großen Garten, which is still awaiting its complete restoration. Not that I am lacking in important churches myself, but the history of probably the most important French cathedral, the documentation of the devastating fire and how it was fought, as well as the planning and execution of the reconstruction, certainly form a remarkable subject for exciting entertainment. Especially when, as in this case, interested visitors can immerse themselves in the 850-year history of the world-famous cathedral using the latest technology (augmented reality stations, interactive models and projections). Even a slim wallet should have the 12€ to spare for 4 hours of excellent education in architecture, architectural history as well as French history.

War ihnen bewusst, dass ich neben meiner architektonischen und geschichtlichen Bedeutung auch eine der bedeutendsten Museumsstädte Europas bin? Die thematische Vielfalt der in meinen Mauern versammelten Exponate wird allgemein als international einzigartig betrachtet und wächst stetig. So ist derzeit die interaktive Ausstellung „Notre-Dame de Paris“ in das, noch immer seine vollständige Restaurierung erwartende, Palais im Großen Garten eingezogen. Nicht das es mir an bedeutenden Kirchen selbst fehlen würde, doch die Geschichte der wohl bedeutendsten französischen Kathedrale, die Dokumentation des verheerenden Brandes und seiner Bekämpfung, sowie die Planung und Ausführung des Wiederaufbaus bilden durchaus eine bemerkenswertes Sujet für spannende Unterhaltung. Besonders wenn die interessierten Besuchenden wie in diesem Falle mit neuster Technik (Augmented Reality-Stationen, interaktiven Modellen und Projektionen) in die 850-jährige Geschichte der weltberühmten Kathedrale eintauchen können. Die 12€ sollte auch ein schmaler Geldbeutel für 4 Stunden exzellenter Bildung in Architektur, Baugeschichte und französischer Geschichte übrig haben.
