I have not appeared on this network for a long time, but I hope to share my work more frequently from now on.
Les cuento que he este tiempo de pandemia y cuarentena no ha sido fácil, pero si que ha sido interesante. He estado dedicando tiempo a estudiar, escribir, componer y desarrollar ideas musicales que iré subiendo poco a poco.
Uno de los proyectos en los que estuve desde el año pasado, y que finalmente publiqué este año es un audiovisual que consta de la musicalización de un poema de una escritora venezolana llamada Luisa del Valle Silva (1896-1962), y una composición de dibujos hechos por niños, niñas, jovenes y adultos alusivos al tema del poema.

I tell you that this time of pandemic and quarantine has not been easy, but it has been interesting. I have been spending time studying, writing, composing and developing musical ideas that I will build up little by little.
One of the projects that I was in since last year, and that I finally published this year is an audiovisual that consists of the musicalization of a poem by a Venezuelan writer named Luisa del Valle Silva (1896-1962), and a composition of drawings made by boys, girls, youth and adults alluding to the theme of the poem.
Quiero contarles que este trabajo lo disfruté mucho por varias razones.
Primero que nada, porque desde la primera vez que leí el poema quedé enamorado. Me impactó tanta simpleza y belleza, tanta sutileza y profundidad en un poema dedicado a niños y niñas. Eso me llevó a desarrollar una melodía y armonía enmarcada en el genero denominado Música Medicina, cuestión que hacía por primera vez en mi vida. Por otro lado, me ayudó a estudiar y entender (muy vagamente, si, pero algo) el tema de la edición y montaje de videos, así como la edición de sonido. Fue todo un reto muy hermoso. Finalmente, poner un granito de arena en la difusión de la obra de la mencionada poetiza, mujer que escribe muy lindo...

I want to tell you that I really enjoyed this job for several reasons.
First of all, because from the first time I read the poem I fell in love. I was struck by so much simplicity and beauty, so much subtlety and depth in a poem dedicated to boys and girls. That led me to develop a melody and harmony framed in the genre called Medicine Music, a question that I was doing for the first time in my life.
