I always preferred a walk in nature over a shopping spree at the mall. Somehow I feel more relaxed if I manage to get away from the urban agitation and recollect.
Although most of my life I lived in the city, I craved for the rural places. Even now I can remember the summer times when I went to the countryside to visit my grandmother and stayed for a couple of weeks. It was magical. Waking up and chasing my grandmother's geese was absolute fun.
Most of all I love the mountains and places with lots of flowers. Pretty obvious in this facepainting right?
What I like about nature is that I can enjoy the silence. No more overstimulating traffic noise, ambulance sirens, crowded places. I can hear birds singing and crickets chirping.
I have a beautiful park 30 minutes away from me and I love to take a book and read it there in nature. It is just me and my thoughts.
I often dream about having a log cabin somewhere in a rural place. With a panoramic view over the city. Where cars aren't circulating 24h a day. Where I can hear the nature. Where I can smell the rustic grass.Where I could sit and paint outside. Where I could cook my breakfast outside in the morning and drink a tea in the evening watching the sunset from a balcony.
I love nature and I think my place is there longterm, not in a city.
