I want to show you a quiet walk where you can let your mind rest, without passing anyone and listening to the sounds of nature. A beautiful walk along a river that rises in the middle of the Sierra de los Alcornocales.
El agua con poco caudal por la escasez de lluvias da vida a a multitud de peces y reptiles. Sobre ella se pasean aves acuáticas que a mi paso se esconden. Entre las ramas muertas de las plantas se cobijan pequeños peces.
The water, with little flow due to the lack of rainfall, gives life to a multitude of fish and reptiles. Waterfowl stroll over it and hide as I pass by. Small fish shelter among the dead branches of the plants.
Mi Perrita no quita el ojo a todo bichito que se mueva.
My little dog keeps her eye on every little bug that moves.
Por la orilla del río encuentro un conjunto de palmeras Washigtonia robusta con su manto de hojas muertas que protege su tronco. A su vez es refugio de roedores y aves.
Along the river bank I find a group of Washigtonia robusta palms with their mantle of dead leaves protecting their trunks. It is also a refuge for rodents and birds.
