Fritzy is my mom’s Pomeranian. She also has two other dogs, Remy the Poodle and Lily the Yorkie.

I have been taking care of her and my dad’s animals while my parents are gone on vacation. The dogs are easy to care for, all they ask is to not be left alone for too long and to be fed regularly.

I work 5 days a week, so they do get left alone for 8 hours a day Monday-Friday. Thankfully for them I rush home to make sure they have some human interaction in the evening. Plus spend a few hours with them in the morning.

Fritz is my favorite of the bunch. He is such a friendly dog and is always ready to play. He has an endless amount of energy and is also well behaved. Thankfully he knows to calm down when it’s one for bed. Remy and Fritzy both insist on sleeping in the same bed with me. It’s fine, although I do prefer sleeping without animals so that I can get better rest.

I’m happy to be able to assist my family when they need me, it’s not a hassle to me. It does however make me extremely grateful that I do not own any pets of my own. They are a giant responsibility and plus they make me sneeze far more than I ever would normally.

I know these animals miss their mom and dad, little do the dogs know my parents will be back home this Sunday. I’m sure the dogs will be ecstatic to see them again. I will be too!
