Sabana Grande para los que viven en Caracas ( Venezuela), saben que se puede decir que es una zona que con el tiempo se ha ido descuidando y bajando su densidad de transito de personas.
“Sabana Grande” for those who live in Caracas (Venezuela), know that it can be said that it is an area that over time has been neglected and lowering its density of transit of people.
Con la primera foto lo que quería mostrar es que a pesar de los años y el descuido la zona sigue siendo de alta importancia para el peatón común. Por ser un centro para el comercio, es decir un mercado masivo de de diferentes servicios y bienes que se venden, pero mi visita al lugar no se trataba como tal de analizar los comercios sino ver la arquitectura del sitio, ya que es una zona residencial, comercial y cultural, que se comunica con otras zonas que tambien son importantes de la ciudad.
With the first photo what I wanted to show is that despite the years and neglect the area is still of high importance for the common pedestrian. For being a center for commerce, that is to say a massive market of different services and goods that are sold, but my visit to the place was not as such to analyze the stores but to see the architecture of the site, since it is a residential, commercial and cultural area, which communicates with other areas that are also important in the city.
Ambas fotos son de techos que generalmente pasan desapercibidos y no se aprecian en ningun momento del dia, esto es mas común de lo que parece, sin embargo no significa que no haya mala arquitectura, sino que como hay buena hay tambien mala arquitectura, ya queda en el criterio personal distinguir entre una y otra y lo que pensamos que beneficia mas al ciudadano común.
Both photos are of roofs that generally go unnoticed and are not appreciated at any time of the day, this is more common than it seems, however it does not mean that there is no bad architecture, but as there is good there is also bad architecture, it is up to personal criteria to distinguish between one and the other and what we think that benefits the common citizen.

Esta última me llama la atención mas que la demás por como se nota el como aprovechar la luz solar para introducirla en edificios, fijense como el borde fuera del cuadrado esta practicamente negro y dentro de el se ve la claridad entrando e iluminando el espacio en el cual reposa
This last one catches my attention more than the others because it shows how to take advantage of sunlight to introduce it into buildings, notice how the edge outside the square is practically black and inside it you can see the light entering and illuminating the space in which it rests.
Sin querer entrar en la mala critica o juzgar, muestro esta foto para dar un ejemplo de una arquitectura que no aprovecha el lugar sino mas bien que se cierra al mismo, con una pared plana, sin texturas, ventilacion, aberturas o entradas de luz, solamente dos rejas en una pared plana, esto se debe al descuido general de la zona. Sin embargo esto no significa que se tenga que quedar así de forma permanente, creo que mas bien sitios como este nos invitan a pensar que solución podemos darle para que así ese espacio tenga vida y se integre al resto del Bulevar de Sabana Grande.
Without wanting to enter into bad criticism or judge, I show this photo to give an example of an architecture that does not take advantage of the place but rather that closes itself to it, with a flat wall, without textures, ventilation, openings or entrances of light, only two bars on a flat wall, this is due to the general neglect of the area. However this does not mean that it has to stay like this permanently, I think that places like this invite us to think about what solution we can give so that this space has life and is integrated into the rest of the Boulevard of Sabana Grande.
